Summary
This is a Legend passed down through the ages....
Link lived his whole life in the Akkala region, surviving of the bounties of the wilderness with the aid of his caretaker, despite its many dangers. Monsters of Ganon roamed freely, forcing many to hide away. Yet, Link's life continued on, foraging and hunting to survive another day. Then one day, when Link rescued an old woman, he found his life changed forever more.
A retelling/novelization of the two NES Zelda games.

Summary
Link is a simple man with a side hustle as one of Hyrule's greatest soldiers. He doesn't know much about the world around him, nor does he really care. His father drilled duty into his head, yet all he really wants is to live a normal life. But when a stranger saves him from a morning hunt gone wrong, Link learns that his simple life isn't acceptable in the eyes of the gods.
Link doesn't want to get roped into the business of liberating Hyrule from political oppression, at least, not until things get personal.
For seven years, Hyrule has been ruled with an iron fist by the Empire, a mysterious entity formed by those who coveted Hyrule’s perceived prosperity. With puppets everywhere, as well as the Yiga Clan and monsters at their whim, the Empire is a force to be reckoned with. But their weakness comes from their greatest mistake. An oversight in their apparent victory, seven years ago... For one member of the old Royal Family survived.

The re-telling of Ocarina of Time as it branches into the Downfall Timeline. This fiction is intended to explain how exactly the downfall timeline's branch was created and to connect Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past. It is a story of Adventure, Love, and Great Tragedy. Feedback welcome! Rated Teen for Violence, Some Language, and Some Adult Themes.
Link must struggle to survive in a kingdom that is rapidly being consumed by evil. He has pulled the Master Sword, but he is too young to wield it. He befriends one of the few Hylian Knights to survive Ganondorf's attack. Together, they will have to train Link to be a cunning warrior while still keeping the evil forces at bay and protecting Princess Zelda.

I thought it was odd the Zelda of AoL doesn't seem to have a counterpart Link of her own, so I set out to figure out what happened to him. Apparently what happened to him is he died.
Anyway, this is a collection of fics about that Link, who I call Spell, and his adventures, where he tries his best to be a Hero from beyond the grave. A lot of the fics will technically be an AU of Linked Universe where Spell is tagging along as a ghost.- Words:
