Her cry had been the loudest of all four of them and just the sight of her circling the sky aimlessly had tugged at his heart strings and caused an ache in his chest.

Left with nothing but a strange tablet called a Sheikah Slate, accompanied by a strange wolf, and guided by a peculiar yet familiar voice, Link must journey through the wilds of Hyrule to prepare for the battle against the monstrous entity known as the Calamity Ganon and restore the kingdom.

Summary
A shrine door groaned open on an isolated plateau, atop a cliff towering over the rest of the plain - already hundreds of feet above the surrounding land. Sunlight trickled through the leaves into the darkened cave, illuminating the dark stone that hadn’t seen the light of day in 100 years. Out of the shadows stepped a figure, shielding his eyes from the sunlight with his hand as he stepped slowly at first, then quicker, rushing to the edge of the cliff and overlooking the vast world that surrounded him.
Thus began the story of a hero.-----Or-----
Link awoke in a world that was unfamiliar to him, and now it was up to him to figure out what exactly was going on, how the world worked, and how he was going to save it.
Needless to say, there was no way to come out of that completely normal or sane.-

Summary
Many years ago, in the middling Kingdom of Hyrule, the folk lived peaceful and simple lives under the rule of great kings and the power of the Triforce. But, those ages are long past. Corruption has taken root deep within the state as unexplainable disasters ravage the country, while an enigmatic emperor from the east sets his sights on the Golden Power. In the shadows, an ancient evil begins to make its return.
As evil besets Hyrule from the inside and out, Link, a travelling lad, along with a wandering merchant and a mysterious old man, sets out on an adventure to bring balance and peace back to the kingdom.
