Johnny Storm knew his brain didn’t always work the way other people’s did.
He could fixate on things for hours. Sometimes days. Sometimes it felt like forever.
Why should he care about grammar or essays when there were stars to study, constellations to trace, and galaxies to memorize? The universe was endless. Things way more important than writing boring sentences.
But his teachers didn’t see it that way.
They called him “bright for his age” but complained he wasn’t applying himself enough.
Johnny didn’t even know what that meant.
