“Is this what you wanted? The death of the universe?”
“I am the universe, and I do not die.” Tommy spoke strongly, speaking with the voice of his avatars and victims alike. He spoke with the conviction of a man on a mission; gone was the childish, mischievous inflection of her son.
“So you come to do away with the last survivor? Am I nothing more than a pawn in your grand scheme?”
There was no response. Tommy had no need of speaking to a corpse.
As he walked away, Queen Trixtin, Empress of the Underworld, stands still, making no move to take the knife out of her chest. A weak smile graces her face. She taught him far too well.

Technoblade rolls his eyes, his hands flexing from where they’re laying in the grass beside him, as if they want to reach for something but can’t. “Yeah, yeah, you got me, Dream, now get up, you’re crushin’ me.” The god watched as Dream removes the axe from Technoblade’s neck, but he stays perched on Techno’s stomach, staring down at the pinkette. The Blood God can see a creepy white mask hanging from the man’s belt, and he wonders if the man only wears it occasionally, or if Techno’s just special.
“Oh, shut up, your muscles are big enough that you could probably pick me up with one hand.” The Blood God’s eyes narrow in confusion at that statement, you aren’t supposed to flaunt the strengths of the person you’re competing against, any smart warrior knows that. Maybe this Dream figure is just dumb. Except, the god stares at the pink that is spreading across Technoblade’s face, and the smug grin growing on Dream’s face, and assumes that he has made a wrongful assumption.
… Interesting.
Or: The Blood God just wants his favorite warrior to be happy, and if it takes a little meddling and the help of the God of Love, then so be it

Okay, maybe the execution affected him a little more than he’d let on.
Ever since it happened- about two months ago, now- there’s been a lingering headache dragging itself across his skull. From back to front, mainly on the right side. Around the month mark it’d gotten to his limbs, stiff movements became everyday reality.
Despite being an overall inconvenience, it was bearable.
So Technoblade did what Technoblade does best- ignored the issue.

He was content and fine with this turn of events, ready to take on his duties with a smile, but after a night with a stranger telling him how amazing he was in each way, after feeling love without pressured intimacy he's suddenly at a crossroads. One road his family warns him against, and the other, hazed by fog, simply calls out to the nature within his heart.
