Summary
(Sequel to Ride of the Valkyries)
In Ravensthorpe, a lost child awakens, hurting because of her past, fearful of her unsure future. A young Raven decides to take her under her wing, much like a certain drengr has done for her, so many winters ago.
Meanwhile, Eivor Wolf-Kissed is awaiting all of her allies to Ravensthorpe for the celebration of her wedding—and the culmination of years spent as a protector of those who cannot defend themselves.
(Basically the weird mesh of the two most self-indulgent prompts ever: Eivor adopting all the orphans she meets + all of her friends coming to Ravensthorpe for a big fun party.)

“I do not see a warrior before me,” Valdis said. “Only a mongrel begging for scraps with his tail tucked between his legs.”
