Summary
In the wake of the final Dragon training Test, Hiccup and Toothless flee. Astrid is left behind to pick up the pieces, build a new generation on Berk. Between the Berk Guard, harbouring dragons and helping Snotlout become chief, Astrid has her hands full. To make matters worse everybody seems to have it out for Berk. A new treaty with a new tribe is the only way for Berk to survive. The condition... dragons and a mysterious 'Guardian'.

The thought burned her up from the inside, heart racing, breath visible against the stormy air, almost glowing amongst the clouds. The possibility of how things might have gone consumed her. How did it go from the war against the dragons to a fight for them. In either case, it was the fight of her life. All because of one moment. One person. Now she kept burning. Alone. Unable to look at green eyes, to remove the smell of smoke from her clothes, to forget the feel of smooth scales beneath her fingertips.When she returned, she’d blame the meeting. The stress, the responsibility. Eyes would watch from every house and Sneaky would climb through her window but it would never be the eyes she craved. Never the dragon she missed. The ones that would never entirely wash away.

Summary
Tommy sighs, staring up at alien ceilings, breathing in alien air, probably and unfortunately digesting alien blood. He guesses he’s never breaking that two year Foster house streak. She probably thinks he ran away. He thinks what pisses him off the most. These aliens made him look like he couldn’t handle a measly fucking argument about curfew and ran away. He’s so pissed he could die.
Tommy stares at the unfamiliar planet, millions of miles away behind a glass pane, and still closer to him than home is.
Die.
Huh. With a quick heartbeat, and an impending sense of doom, he thinks: He just might.
Or, Aliens are assholes, and turns out, some of them are even human traffickers. Tommy learns soon enough that he values freedom more than trying to figure out what the fuck had to go wrong in his life to lead to him getting lost in outer-space.
Even more, Tommy learns right thereafter, that he loves Earth a little more than he originally thought.

Summary
This was Technoblade's house. It's not nearly as regal as Tommy expected of the ex-royalty anarchist, but who's Tommy to judge?
Before he can even move away, his ears catch the sound of doors creaking open and animal cries. Tommy crouched low in the snow, pressing his underbelly to the ground. Out of the basement entrance was Technoblade, his sword was sheathed in a scabbard on his hip, but Tommy was more intimidated by the sheer amount of dogs barking, growling, and prying for Technoblade’s attention.
The hounds took off into the snow, kicking it up like dust as they howled. Tommy felt his heart sink to his stomach as they headed straight for him. The first to catch up to him nipped him in the side while the second clocked Tommy in the shoulder, knocking him off his paws and tumbling into the snow.
“Hey!” Techno yelled, most of the dogs immediately running back to their owner while three others sat beside Tommy with wagging trails. “What’re you- oh?”
Tommy can shift into a wolf and decides to stay that way
OR I am coming back to dsmp like one does an awful ex because there's so many ideas in my head again

Summary
Werewolves were a dying species, and Techno is a lone wolf with a pup to protect. Having escaped a life from a fighting ring, Techno vows that his pup; Tommy would not have to worry about such a life. He settles in a new territory and soon meets his neighbors. Vampires. Or rather a blonde vampire claiming to be the Coven head; Philza. Philza talks to Techno unlike any vampire Techno has even heard or seen before. Claiming to want to become friends. Neighbors should be on good terms after all.
Techno lets the vampire walk and talk with him.
Techno keeps his pup hidden, not trusting the vampire despite the friendly demeanor. Refusing to change from his wolf form. He had long forgotten human speech anyway. Then one day, Philza starts acting strange.
Techno’s den is attack by vampires. And Techno will once again have to live up to his Fighting Ring name that he thought he had left behind in bloody paw prints. He would become the Blood God again if that meant his pup would be safe. He refused to lose another pack.CHARACTERS NOT CC's. I DON'T CONDONE ACTIONS THAT CC's MIGHT HAVE DONE IRL.

Summary
Tommy looks ahead, glances back at his footsteps in the snow to make sure he’s keeping direction. He stares at the snow for a bit longer than usual, his breath coming out in puffs of smoke as he feels his throat grow tight. He keeps moving, trying to think. Trying to form some sort of plan.
“Don’t you see what’s happening here?! Don’t you see history repeating itself?!” Techno’s voice rings in his head, and Tommy closes his eyes, grits his teeth and feels them chatter together. He pulls at the cloth over his shoulders, even though it doesn’t do shit against the wind.

In which Tommy goes to Techno's base right after he's exiled. This results in Tommy's family seeing him hurt, and having the only Reasonable response: acting out World Domination

Summary
The ones in charge bark their orders at him day after day, pushing him out into the battlegrounds, demanding that he spills blood. They tell him to fight, tell him to behave, tell him to get in his cage and wait for sunlight so it can all start again.
Techno listens. He simmers with quiet anger and tears his opponents apart, soaks in the shrieking cries from the audience surrounding him. He listens, and waits, and when the higher ups deem the results good enough, he’s allowed to return to the single person in this hell that has ever taught him what it’s like to live.
Techno doesn’t know real freedom, but he has Wilbur.
That, he thinks, is good enough.
(Or, AU in which twinduo are fighters in an arena. The only solace they find is with each other, at least until they're then freed. They struggle to adjust.)

Tommy watched in growing apprehension as his handler left the room. The other three aliens all moved to the side to seemingly watch.
“What’s going on?” Tommy asked. “What do you want with me?”
None of them replied, but they did look enraptured with him. Like he was some kind of exotic animal in the zoo. He curled into the blanket as much as he could, wishing he could sink through the floor.
What were they even staring at?
Bunch of creeps.
-------------------------------------------------Tommy thought getting abducted by aliens meant he'd be tied to a slab and dissected. That... didn't happen. Instead, they coo, stare, and pamper him like a treasured pet. If only he could get them to see he was sentient. Easy, right?

Everything is a little blurred around the edges, but Techno is on his knees, he’s not falling any further—refuses to—and he knows he’s not getting out of here any time soon. Maybe not even getting out of here at all, but that doesn’t matter as long as Ranboo managed to get away. Ranboo has to get away, otherwise everything that he, Philza and Eret have sacrificed for the sake of the Enol’ka will be for naught, and his awaited death will be meaningless.
Not that Technoblade isn’t going to give his captives hell for the time that they have him. He’s going to fight with every fibre of his being and then some.He’s going to make them regret capturing him.
Or: A non-canonical alternative beginning for Starchild AU, in which it’s Technoblade who meets Tommy first.

Summary
Dream’s mask seems to be looking off into the distance, head raised with one hand held into the air, and the other grasped onto his sword, too little, too late. Technoblade stares at him with narrowed eyes, lip curled in a scowl, his tusks only adding to the image of danger. They are at a standstill, kept like statues, Wilbur only being able to lift his head up and witness.
“If you kick my son again,” Technoblade tells Dream, voice low. “I'm going to cut your head off.”
There’s no hint of a false word in his threat. Wilbur finds the protection over him comforting for a moment, his worries relieved, his fear settling. Then he catches onto the wording, and he remembers very well that son is not the word for Techno to have.
“…your what ."
(Or, three-ish times Wilbur absolutely refused to call Techno dad, and one time he might've considered)

“Wait, wait, you know where we are, don’t you?” he says, stopping a stretch from Technoblade’s reach, not entirely unaware of their situation, and that Techno perceives him as an enemy.
“Nætera,” he answers, the word spat out where it leaves a bad taste in his mouth.
“More specifically, Ægakigar. It’s an island. No way off of it.”
Not with that fucking attitude there wasn’t. He holds his ground and holds his tongue, waiting for the other to get to the point. He doesn’t like the way he’s being watched; the Æirtyto’s eyes narrowing as they sweep over him, looking for a weakness. Or maybe something else.“You know the Dkaræ want us to fight a deathmatch, right?”
“You saying you could kill me?” Techno challenges, mentally trying to calculate the time it’d take him to snag a rock from beneath his feet. It would do him no use as a projectile—Hylochoerian’s don’t have the aim to effectively use singular projectiles—but it would at least weighten his fist should this conversation turn physical.Or: A different take on the Starchild Universe, with Dkaræ taking their pick of prisoners and pitting them against one another in a Deathmatch. All while Humans are still terrifying unknown creatures.

Summary
“Anything happen to it recently?” Tommys’ eyes are dutifully glued to the thing as he unscrews its side panel, making sure to pocket each screw.
“Not anything big? Er, we did move recently…” The man almost sounds sheepish, and Tommy's gaze flicks upwards, urging him to continue. “And while moving it, it slipped from her hands once.” Thing about PC's, is that they fall apart like Legos too.
Tommy can’t help but wince. Dropping it: literally just the thing he was hoping didn’t happen. The man must see it, because he’s quickly going to try and make it seem better than it is.
“—But it wasn't from very high! The outside wasn’t even dented. It was only from around a foot or two.”
That absolutely did not help his case.
Or; Tommy, who might be the least enthusiastic candidate to be one, is unequivocally declared a vigilante by the news. Fuck him for giving a shit, he guesses. He doesn’t understand why they couldn’t have just given him the title of temporary firefighter. No, they had to jump straight to vigilante.

Summary
Life was a horrible blur nowadays, compiled with the simple tasks of wake up, eat, get taken to the medbay, thrown back into his cell afterwards, given one more meal then sleep. Only for the day to repeat itself tomorrow over and over again like a clock.
Ranboo didn’t understand what was so fascinating about him. They poked and prodded like he was a space anomaly. Scars littering his body like he was the stars the aliens ship sailed across in. Nothing ever changes.
That is until two new aliens are thrown into his room and with them, the idea that maybe he could have a life beyond the cage he learned to accept. That is if they don’t eat him first.
Or: Ranboo has been held captive and experimented on by aliens for a long time now. He gets a new chance at life when Tubbo and Tommy get kidnapped by the same aliens, starting the butterfly effect to freedom.

He slammed his foot down on the brake of his stolen car and shifted into drive, ignoring the chaos of the superpowered fight going on less than a block away. He was about to pull out of the alley he was hidden in when the passenger door was abruptly yanked open. Tommy jumped, head snapping towards the door.
He came face to face with a man wearing an opaque black veil.
Shit.
Or: Tommy is a teenager on the run from the number one superhero in the city, Dream. In his most humble opinion, he's doing great at staying under the radar while making his escape attempt.
That is until three of the most feared villains in the city decide he's now their getaway driver. Fuck his life

Summary
Kristin can smell the blood before she is even close to the reef that is home to many pods of merfolk. The reef here was meant to be a safe place for any merfolk that wanted to escape the wars going on. Around hundred mers called the reef home and the number would rise and fall as others came and went. It did not matter where you came from or what you were trying to avoid, this was a safe place for all.
The whole area was meant as a neutral ground where no fighting was allowed. The area here was her territory that she agreed to let others live on to offer safety. But the waters carried the blood to her home, and she knew something horrible had happened.
It did not take long for her to come upon the destroyed reef and the bodies that littered the ruins. Her stomach turned the longer she stared at the once beautiful reef and the many merfolk that once lived there. An anger flared to life in her chest at who thought they could come into her territory and murder those under her protection.

Techno slammed his fists against the transparent wall of his prison, trying his best to break it down. His captors backed up, whistling anxiously to each other.
He gave the barrier another loud crack, delightedly watching as they scrambled away in abject terror.
Nodding in satisfaction, he turned around to meet the eyes of two other prisoners that had been thrown into his cell.
He froze.
Right.
There were now aliens in his cell.
And he probably just scared the hell out of them.
Or: Humans are a dangerous race feared by all on an intergalactic scale. Techno, a human ex-soldier that was abducted by aliens 18 months ago, is biding his time in captivity.
This changes when two young aliens are sent into his cell to die.

He’d just managed to break of a sizeable chunk when the creature inside changed tack, and the silver membrane started to stretch. Like elastic, it stretched out further and further but not snapping, and as it stretched it became more transparent, and Tommy could make out the faint silhouette of something.
He felt himself shaking slightly, from nerves or excitement he didn’t know. He reached into his bag to bring out one of the shards of shell, just as the membrane recoiled and there was a slight thump and a wobble from the egg. Breathing heavily, he grasped a bit of the membrane between his fingers and pulled it out, using the shard to poke a hole. It cut like butter under a hot knife, and Tommy drew back his hand to peer inside.
Nestled inside at the bottom of the egg, was a very small, very tired looking dragon.
