Finding out that his best friend (and crush) was a vampire, was not on Reki’s to do list for this school year. Not that he’s complaining, otherworld abilities are really useful in the skating world, and it was a small plus that Langa could beat anyone who tried to mess with Reki.
Thrown in the world of vampires, Reki must learn to hold his ground with nothing to help him but his own wits and questionable life choices. Obsessed with the idea of his 'Eve', Adam will do anything to get what he wants, even if it means using the redhead human to do so.
Langa just wants to skate with Reki and keep him safe. Which would be easier if he stopped running into trouble around every corner.
The others are wondering how one human can end up in so many dangerous situations they're left questioning if Reki has any self-preservation instincts at all.

Because Kaveh is funny and talented and kind even when it hurts him, especially when it hurts him, and Alhaitham knows that kindness, that care extends to him because it extends to everyone, and a little bit of Alhaitham wants it to be a special kind of care he has for no one but him.
