Summary
Kara is at the end of her nursing shift when a violent man is brought in with an arrow wound. When he spits blood on her, Kara is transported elsewhere. Soon she's doing emergency wound care on book characters and trying not to lose it. She can't watch people suffer even if it isn't real, but Aragorn is very suspicious of a woman who tells no clear story and smells like an orc.
“Stranger things have happened than you or I have years to tell of it," Gandalf said. "Why does she unsettle you? Surely you do not feel threatened. I am tolerably certain you could defeat her if it came to violence.”
Aragorn scoffed at his gentle humor. “I’m glad to amuse you. There are more dangers than warriors and swords. Need I tell a wizard that?"
“I can assure you she is not evil and has not a whisper of magic.”
“Yet a beautiful woman appears directly in our path, leagues from civilization, and immediately gains the hobbits’ trust. No wizardry, you say?”
Kara was not *unhappy* at being called a beautiful woman (although his standards for human women, as opposed to elves, were probably low), but she was unhappy to be stuck eavesdropping. She’d seen this scene too many times in movies. They would definitely see her.- Language:

When the Avengers cross path with the Winchester siblings, there's only one outcome – sheer devastation. In the midst of it all - James 'Bucky' Barnes, an infamous former assassin known as the Winter Soldier, who is still grappling with the concept of freedom, and Abigail Winchester (OC), a hunter of creatures that dwell in the darkest shadows. Was this a doing of fate or a mere coincidence?
I plan to take my time crafting this narrative because it is my first crossover, and I want it to be dark, dramatic, emotionally intense, and filled with terrifying horror and suspense. Because it is an alternate universe, the plot will not adhere strictly to the canon of either fandom. The major focus will be on the Avengers, but it will cover both sides of the crossover through multi-povs.

Never interrupting customers when they were in the middle of a conversation was one of those rules, ignoring the gunshots coming from different parts of the city was another but the most important rule was; you weren’t supposed to be friends with the children of mobsters.
“But I’m not like my father,” Bucky had told you once, making you scoff.
"You will be.”
You were wrong, though. His father was just one of the many mob bosses in the city.
Bucky Barnes on the other hand, was going to be a legend.
