Summary
Fandral had a reputation. It wasn’t one of his own creation (mostly) but folk assumed that all his flirting with the maidens of the realm meant that he had vast pool of experience with the fairer sex. And, to be fair, this was true to some extent but nowhere near to the degree that his reputation proposed. He didn’t bother to correct this though. In fact, Fandral rather liked the tales of his exploits and started adding to them himself until he was infamous.
Fandral the Dashing, a master swordsman and brother in arms to prince Thor, with a woman on each arm (and sometimes more than one on each arm). But Fandral had a secret… something he could never reveal to the other warriors, and especially not to Thor.
Perhaps his secret was the real reason that he had crafted his reputation so carefully – to keep others from suspecting the truth. And the truth was that Fandral was no longer chasing young maidens, for he had found someone so captivating that his gaze never lingered on a fair lady any longer. The story of how both men found peace and contentment in themselves and each other. Loki will eventually find out what brings true joy and help others find it as well.

Summary
Really, it was all just a casual fling with no feelings involved. Loki would cause a problem, the Avengers would fix the problem, then Tony would go to Loki's afterwards to have a quick fuck then leave. Absolutely no feelings involved. So when Loki started acting peculiar, Tony absolutely didn't notice it, and he absolutely did not care enough to go check on him. Absolutely not. They were casual, after all.

"Why are you in my bed?!" Loki paid him no attention as he turned around, only showing Tony his backside as he put his leather back on and started strapping his armor back onto himself. If Tony didn't know better, he would have thought that Loki looked hurt, but Loki was crazy, bag full of cats crazy, and even if he was hurt, Tony shouldn't let that bother him. Then why was there a small part of him that did care? Loki didn't turn around until he had all of his armor back on, both literally and figuratively; his face was a stone.
"What are you doing here?!" Tony demanded. Loki looked at him, but his face gave nothing away. He walked past him like he was going to walk away, but Tony found his arm stopping him without realizing it.
"Why are you here? Why don't I remember?" Tony asked, but less angrily and more confused. Loki sighed again and turned around.
"This is not the first time this has happened," Tony frowned, then glared. That wasn't true; he sure as hell had never slept with Loki before, even if he had last night, which he still couldn't remember.
Or Tony wakes up to find himself with Loki, and it gets more complicated.
