Summary
It's senior year and Danny has gotten his life together. He's been officially Clockwork's apprentice for over a year and it's been nothing but net positives. Ghosts aren't fighting him unannounced as often. He can freeze time to catch up any lost sleep. No limits on how long it takes for him to study make it so catching up with his missed school work was only the start. Free time isn't a premium anymore, but the norm.
This leads to him tutoring a college bound Dash and them getting close. An unforeseen side effect of getting close to Danny, Dash's hesitation around ghosts is drastically lowered, leading him to trusting Nocturn. There is no way that could end up badly.

Jazz loved her little brother. God, she loved him. But ever since she found out he was Phantom, something inside her had shifted. She knew he was just a kid. She knew he was trying to protect Amity. She knew he would never harm her.
But she also knew what he could do—possess people, flatten their house with barely any effort. And no matter how much she hated herself for it, fear still coiled in her chest whenever she thought about him.
That fear was one of the biggest reasons she ran to Gotham for her studies. Distance felt like a solution. Danny had things handled: their parents, the GIW, the ghosts. They could talk online; she wouldn’t have to stand in the same room as the thing she loved and feared.

And now they’re friends and more. Because Danny always finds new ways to surprise him.
