Summary
A series of jewellery robberies take place in the weeks leading up to Christmas, and the culprit: Santa Claus. The media is calling this criminal "Bad Santa", and his thefts are already causing Japan to turn away from the jolly elf. They are banning his image due to these thefts.
The media coverage of these thefts get to L and he is outraged. "Christmas has always been a joyous occasion and I have fond memories. I won’t let it be ruined by this—this charlatan! The Kira Case is on hold until we catch this @#$%er!"
Using the resources of the Kira Task Force, they hunt down this "Bad Santa" and confront him. But this criminal isn't who they think he is, and he has the special power, that of Necromacy--the ability to turn people into walking zombies.
But when Light comes face-to-face with this unusual criminal, Kira might not even be enough to subdue the evil of this menace.
