Lip curling, Steve met his pale eyes, hating that he’d ever found them attractive. “You don’t know shit about me, dick head. So why don’t you go fuck yourself with that enormous shitbag personality of yours?”
The asshole just huffed, flexing his arm, clearly trying to intimidate. “Your work ethic says plenty, but hey, I’m not the one paying you, though don’t think I won’t be sharing what a fucking great fella you are—sleeping on the job and backtalking to the people you’re supposed to be working for.”

Summary
Bucky Barnes has finally come home.
A year and a half after the events on the helicarriers, desperate for a safe haven and a chance to finally rest, Bucky takes Steve at his word and returns to the dilapidated row house in Brooklyn where he and Steve once lived.
Room by room, he slowly starts to fix up the house as he works on his own recovery, while Steve starts to circle closer and closer. It's not easy; it was never going to be easy, and as Steve and Bucky draw even closer to each other in their dance, there are new steps to learn and old wounds to heal.
But nothing has ever been able to stop these two boys from Brooklyn, and as they start to share food, trips to Home Depot, late night runs and eventually laughter, it turns out that Bucky isn't the only one who needs help healing.
That's only if Steve can get Bucky to believe in himself and the life they have started to build together, and convince Bucky to stay.

Summary
The biggest lies are usually the ones we tell ourselves, and Steve has been telling lots of lies, especially lately. That in spite of how he can’t stop chewing his fingernails bloody, the never ending nightmares chasing him out of bed, and the way merely seeing ice sends him into a panic, he’s fine.
But when his latest mission with The Avengers goes horribly wrong, Steve can no longer keep lying, not even to himself.
Diagnosed with PTSD and placed on medical leave, initially Steve is resentful, stubbornly refusing the idea there’s anything that can make it better. Until Sam suggests a Service Dog, and introduces him to James Buchanan Barnes, a fellow vet and trainer who swears one of his dogs can help, if only Steve can summon enough bravery to take a leap of faith and accept a four-legged companion in his life.
What follows is a long and winding journey of fear, doubt and self-recrimination. But also hope, acceptance and redefining what it means to be a hero, as Steve finally faces the issues that have been haunting him his entire life.
There is also a lot of fur, conversations with dogs, and a cross-country road trip, as Steve rebuilds his life and maybe, just maybe, falls in love along the way.

In East Berlin around the late 60s /early 70s, KGB Asset 3B-1 is tasked with surveilling a subject that has raised some low grade red flags.
Nothing too serious. The original order is to just eliminate the subject - kind of like you would swat a fly before it becomes a nuisance - but Asset 3B-1's personal equipment malfunctions and the whole thing gets switched to recon and this is how Asset 3B-1 finds himself watching a hapless artist sleep, mostly.
But this is the heyday of spies and corruption and nothing ever being what it seems, and so Things Happen. Plot and action and secrets and lies Happen.
Until of course the truth comes out, the way it always does.Because at the core of this are Bucky and Steve, as always---idiots who are being the most idiotic idiots about everything, especially each other.

Summary
Cohabitation is now trial and error. Some days, Bucky tries to console himself by thinking that it was much the same back when Steve moved in with him after Sarah passed. But he knows that was different. The anger had no real bite. Steve’s harsh diatribes were always aimed at his perceived weaknesses rather than Bucky’s clumsy attempts to be sweet on him.
God help him, he misses that firecracker kid, his bones held together with spite, and he misses the brave monster who walked into hell to pull Bucky out of it.
And that’s just it, isn’t it? Steve pulled Bucky out of hell, but the stories all say it comes with a price. Steve paid with his life, his soul, and he was a ghost for seventy years and now he’s a wraith, and Bucky wants so badly to breathe him to life, but he doesn’t know how.
“You haven’t tried to kill me in weeks,” Bucky manages to say, and god, is that his voice? He sounds worn and old, like he’s really in his nineties. He swallows and tries to be stronger. “So yeah, Steve. A reason would be nice.”

Stuff like restoring Bucky’s memory. Because during one of their encounters, the Winter Soldier puts his finger in Steve’s mouth, and Steve learns the second most important thing in his life.
While Bucky’s mind might not remember him, Bucky’s body certainly does.

“Then tell me,” Steve interrupted, his voice rising just enough to make Bucky’s heart race. “Tell me, so I can prove you wrong.”
The words were on the tip of Bucky’s tongue, his heart pounding so hard it felt like it might break free from his chest. He wanted to say it, wanted to lay it all out in the open, but the fear was paralyzing.
And then Steve said, softly, “Please, Buck.”
Bucky’s resolve crumbled.
“I’m in love with you.”
The words hung in the air, heavy and raw and impossible to take back. Bucky’s chest heaved as he forced himself to meet Steve’s gaze, bracing for rejection, for disgust, for anything that would confirm his worst fears.

George joined his bandmates on stage, settling in behind his drum set as Tina kept talking to the audience. The stage lights were warm against his skin, but they still didn’t feel as warm as the lingering feeling of Dream’s hand on his shoulder. “Okay guys, he’s a little late, but this is my other friend George, who’s gonna be playing the drums for you tonight. He’s really good, so you better cheer really loud for him, okay?”
George played a few loud and complicated measures from a song he’d half forgotten, just to get something out there. The audience responded enthusiastically, but George’s eyes were still pulled off stage, to where Dream was watching, smiling softly. George caught his eye, and his smile grew into something wide and contagious. George couldn’t help it; he smiled back.
