Healy didn’t have a body count. He wasn’t Jack the Ripper… or Amelia’s mother. But that’s not to say he was a saint. Blueface was dead because of him, and John Boy would have been too if Holly hadn’t stepped in.
This may be the one and only time Healy would ever break that promise. It was almost half past ten by now, and most neighbors would be asleep. If he acted quickly, none of them would hear the gunshot or Johnson scream. It had to be quick, despite how badly Healy wanted to slow down and make that fucker suffer.
Johnson’s hand- probably sweaty, clammy- had found a new home on March’s ankle, where his slacks had ridden up, where his knees were bent.
Squeeze. Settle. Squeeze. Settle. Thumb-rubbing back and forth.
“Holly,” Healy whispered, rounding the counter. “Get the gun.”

He wasn’t going to cry in front of the kids, not over a fucking game, not over something his boyfriend loved so much.
But they were coming faster than he could blink them back as he headed out of Mike’s stuffy basement and out to the driveway, the cold night air caressing his flushed face.
This was supposed to have been a treat for Eddie. It was supposed to be fun, and Steve had ruined the night by being fucking stupid.

What makes it worse is that the rape forces him to remember that his body is hermaphroditic in the worst way possible.
Charlie just wants to reconnect with her father. But suddenly, he seems so small, so scared. Like a porcelain doll that will break if she so much as looks at him the wrong way. She doesn’t know what’s wrong — but she knows something IS wrong, and she wants, so badly, to help him. But how can she help him when he refuses to speak about it? And why is Alastor so much more coy and buddy-buddy than usual, too? Somehow, she thinks it’s connected to her father’s sudden meek temperament, and she doesn’t like it one bit.

“What are you doing here,” is all he can think to say. He whirls around, and there he is. On Crowley’s right, standing there like he’d never left. Where he belongs, Crowley’s mind helpfully supplies. He wishes he could punch himself in the brain, knock the thoughts right on out of there.
