Summary
I was thinking about Micah and what if in the beginning he was misunderstood. Sure he has a nasty temper, he’s not high honour or anything but maybe he tries to help the gang. His attitude might just make it hard for others to see that.
So Micah is misunderstood and also possibly in love with Arthur.

Summary
Love comes in many forms.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm showing you where I really go when I'm not in camp. It's this way." Micah appeared excited to show him.
"It's just a wall."
Arthur stood holding the lantern at the height of their heads and he looked around the small cave with Micah only standing there like he belonged to the cave.
"That's what you think."

Summary
A summer night at a cabin in California, 1901, where Arthur has Micah at his disposal.
He also reminisces a bit about the fall of the Van der Linde Gang in 1899 and the rise of the Red Kerdon Company in 1900. (The redemption of Bill Williamson being an essential part of the background in a Morbell smut fic? It's more likely than you think.)
