Zeldris’ sword got melted to the hilt by one Mael of the Archangels, and this means that Zelris does not have a physical sword after the Demon Bastard fight. As such, whether or not he wants it, because Meliodas is trying to be a good big brother now that they both have the time, lack of evil dads breathing down their necks, and presence of mind to, he thinks it's a great time to drag his brother on a quest to find materials for a worthy blade, drink ale, talk about their wives, talk about stuff in general, and maybe even teach him a craft that isn’t fighting or something to do with being royalty.
