In 2001, Alex Horne is freshly dumped, drunk and just trying to get back to his college rooms when he trips and falls through time. In 2025, Greg Davies is on tour, lonely, and just trying to get back to his hotel, when he stumbles upon a much, much, younger version of his friend and co-host. Together they try to find a path home for Alex.

Summary
By some unspoken rule, they have agreed that Eddie is allowed to pretend it’s all fine when the three of them are together. But as soon as it’s just Eddie and Buck, the pretence falls away. And Tommy had an early shift, so he left, and now it’s just Buck and Eddie and they’ve turned the TV down and Buck’s thumb is soothing up and down Eddie’s shoulder and he’s turning to look at him-
“So… you doing okay?”
Eddie nods yes on instinct, but Buck waits him out.
“I - I’ve been seeing Frank a lot. He’s been telling me for a while now that I need to name my feelings. Actually name them, not just interpret them as anger, find something to punch and move on. Even if I can only name it in my head or on a piece of paper to burn later. Even if naming it makes me feel like just, the absolute worst person in the world… Frank said I should name that feeling, too.”
Or: Eddie works on feeling his feelings, Frank has the patience of a saint, and the moustache is *seriously* doing it for Buck.
