Tubbo was a normal 18 year old boy in a super hero and villain dominated world. That is to say he was broke and unemployed. Everytime he tried to get a job he was rejected because he “doesn’t have enough education to be qualified” or “doesn’t legally exist” but luckily, on a walk towards the middle of no where he finds work where he least expects it.
Good news: it pays more then minimum wage and has generous hours

Tubbo was confused by a lot of things.
He was confused on why Ranboo seemed to be so... out of touch with other people. Sometimes part of his roots would turn white, only to be back to black the next day.
He was confused on why he was targeted in school, when he barely ever talked in the first place. It was weird.
He was confused why this town was so isolated. He was confused on the fact that so many people went missing in the woods, which was slowly dwindling down their numbers.
He was confused on why his parents seemed so detached, why they didn't care.
But nothing, and he means nothing, would ever have been able to confuse him more than being in a village full of fairies

It was a sound like a crackle of fireworks that opened to an exploding boom. The night sky lit up momentarily, turning brighter -almost ethereal with swirling clouds-, the stars multiplied within a single second before bursting into nothingness and leaving the sky dark. Dream cursed under his breath.
There was light. No, many lights! Vibrant green spikes of light that raced to space against time itself and faded into deep, elusive magentas and dark reds. The colors danced over their heads, spreading in patters like that of the sand of the sea floor over the landscape.
An aurora borealis had appeared.

With the help of Tubbo, Tommy slowly starts to figure out parts of his identity he hadn't previously thought of. They find pronouns that suit them, that make them feel happy in a way they didn't realize they could feel.
Then Tommy has to tackle the problem of coming out. With his best friend behind him and their family ahead of them they take the leap. And what they find is love, more love than they thought possible.
What Tommy finds is that his family cares for him no matter what. He's happy, their loved, he's home

He hates to ruin it but he can't stop his tears, his anguish, his sorrows.
Everything just hurts.
"Please, please don't leave me Dad. Please, please don't take him." He begs, he begs his father, the heroes, anyone.
He begs for his father, cries for his father, pleads.
But he knows it doesn't work this way.
"I love you my little guppy, I love you more than the sun and moon." His father says.
"More than the sky and clouds." Tommy continues.
"And more than the world itself." They both say in sync as both their foreheads pressed together.
Or
Tommy's Dad is a villain but he's caught in a fight with the heroes and it doesn't look like he's gonna win. Little Tommy cannot let that happen. He cannot lose his Dad.
