Four stared incredulously at the Captain, and he wanted to facepalm at how idiotic he was. To the blacksmith, it was as clear as day who the hero was, she was standing right in front of them!!
“There is no guy called Link.” She answered with a raised brow, hoping he caught her drift. Judging by his annoyed expression he clearly did not.
“Now hold on, that old man back in Castle Town said Link lived out here, now either you are lying-”
“Or Link is right in front of us.” Four cut him off, with a hard stare.

Summary
The chain end up in a dungeon and it seems that everyone is split into groups of three. While Twilight, Hyrule and Four are traveling the dungeon they in counter a Dark Link that looks like the Captain, but the Dark is younger and more timid and fear full of them.
This leads to confusion, adoption, and worming into the hearts of Twilight.
But still.....
Something is wrong with this dungeon.

And a grayish looking hand with black gloves swats Twi away as Twilight continues to poke his nose onto the wall. Four lowers himself more into Twilight's fur and Hyrule does too, but he ends up inhaling some dirt off of Twilight fur, causing him to choke.
And Twi being a smart wolf, finds something and goes to tug the thing with his mouth from the shadows from the wall. A dark looking copy of Warriors stares at them with red eyes, gray skin, white hair, the funky cone hat they all wore once, and a black tunic and scarf.

“But it doesn't make sense.” Green says aloud. “The captain is so collected and has very high self esteem. It doesn't really make sense that his Shadow would be a scared trembling mess.”
The d-no Shadow Link looked somewhat offended at Green's comment. But when Hyrule had flown a little too close to it, it scooted to the left away from him. An overly timid Captain, never thought he saw that day.

“You're such an adorable bunny, Legend!”
“Fuck off!”
“Is mister bunny upset?”
“Shut the fuck up Wild!”
“Time! Legend is being a grumpy pants!”
"Woof.”)

Twilight looks up to see the Dark alarmed and mouthing words with no voice coming out. Before settling on shaking its head in no. It looked sad at itself, for not being able to speak. Twilight nuzzles his head on the Dark's hand, and the Dark has a tiny unsure smile in thanks.
Well hot damn. Another lost child wormed their way into his heart.( “Wild!” Sky and Wind shouted as they ran up to Wild who was currently with two animals right now.
"Sky get me the sword!”Legend demands.
"You're pink!”Wind says in shock. "And you're a bunny!”
"Sheesh, for a tiny creature you're loud.” Wild grumbled, as he clutched his ears.
Sky hands Legend the sword to touch, and Time puts a paw on the blade. Both heroes turn back into Hylian. Legend flips Wild off.
“Have you guys seen the Captain?” Sky asked sheepishly.
“No, we haven't.” Time answered. "I assumed that he was with you or the Pup.”
"But he's not,”Wind answered. “I could have sworn I saw him with us, but he wasn't there.”
“Then,"Legend asks, "Where is he?".)

“War of Era's?”Sky echoed, “But wouldn't that mean you were-”
“Yes. We were with the captain during his adventure.” Time answered.
“The captain never mentioned it.” Legend says.
“I don't think he could have.” Wind mutters.
“Why?” Hyrule demanded. “Does it have to do with this Lana person?”
