Summary
In a new world, Dametrius (Fierce Deity) is faced with modern day problems and conflicts when it comes to all his sons. His sons, the heroes of old, born to him to be given the opportunity to grow up in the way they didn't have the chance to. Though things are different and the boys don't have the memories of their previous life, things of the past still find a way to cause chaos. Doesn't help that Dametrius now works for King Rauru and Queen Sonia as a mercenary and it puts his family as whole in danger.
Follows directly after 'A Deity's Son' and follows points of what happened in that story.

They rolled their eyes. “Fine, I’ll spell it out for you, then. Remember Demise? Remember when you fucking failed to stop him from cursing you? Why do you think there was no Link before you? Why do you think all of your brothers have your spirit, and that they’re all followed by a demon king that ruined their lives? I wonder.”
Sky froze.Or,
Dink decides Sky can no longer remain blissfully oblivious of 'what he did'. It is a very, very bad day to be Sky.

Wild has traveled across his kingdom alongside eight heroes of the past. His brothers have stood true by his side, as the search for Dark Link intersected with a new goal: to once more defeat Ganondorf. A new Ganondorf, one that the other heroes do not know, but are familiar with all the same. And so, together the nine of them descend to the furthest parts of the earth that they've been to: the Hyrule Castle Chasm. There, they will find the greatest enemies they've ever known. There, they will finally bring an end to the darkness that had plagued Wild's lands for countless thousands of years.
But where evil sleeps, so, too, do memories of the past. And to some, familiarity is a path they've walked before.Or: the Chain beat Tears of the Kingdom together.

The chain agree to crawl through a mega dungeon for some unknown artifact. They are still unsure of whom they can trust but can't deny that the challenges ahead sound fun! More importantly the chain will have to share their struggles and trauma and learn more about each other if they wish to go home. Deals were made along the way and how will those effect the future? And why had Hylia given Wild the Ancient hero's aspect in the first place? Who was this ancient hero? Hopefully they all survive long enough to find out.

Even with his wide arsenal of weapons, spells, medallions and items, magic rings couldn’t fix his ribs fast enough. Hyrule sat at the stone wall next to his head, clutching a red, gaping hole in his side with pink, glowing fingers. If Legend could feel his toes, he could probably kick Wars in the head.
