Summary
Four gods, a handful of dead kings, the ghost of an oracle, and now the light of a dying star. One human body. Noctis kneels on the floor of the keep, collapsed forward with his forehead resting on the cool concrete for precious minutes, breathing labored and keening some high pitched, terrible sound. He wants to feel a hand on his shoulder and for someone to pull him away from the hurricane-force of the magic just at his back, he wants his teeth to stop ringing like his whole jaw’s a tuning fork.
But it doesn’t. And no one does.
Or, accepting boons from the gods comes with consequences. Noctis drifts further away. Gladio, Prompto, and Ignis can only watch.
