Outnumbered, Lance’s frown only turned harsher, glaring when he spat out his next words in frustration, “Well, I don’t see you guys giving any ideas on how to proceed here!”
As much as they needed to act quickly, Hunk should also checked on his best friend.
So the yellow paladin grabbed both of Lance’s shoulders, made sure they were holding eye contact, before he said reassuringly:
“Lance. Stop taking your frustrations out on us.”
That may have come out a little wrong.
or Keith and Shiro got caught, so it’s up to ‘the Garrison Trio’ to finish the mission.

Aliens force Hunk to chose which Paladin will be publicly branded in a out of control negotiation for a rare ore. Hunk struggles with his guilt and Shiro does his usual best as leader to reassure him. Set in early s2ish.

Looking back, Hunk doesn’t know how he knew, but he did. He knew at that point that if he didn’t fix that. Didn’t fix Lance. Then he would lose him. Hunk could not let that happen.

Hunk got to the bridge just in time to see Keith storming off, the only glance given to him a scowl.
He entered the bridge with a worried expression, only to find Lance on the floor, wheezing as Coran inspected his face with an arm wrapped around his stomach.
“Uh,” Hunk coughed, ignoring the fact that he’d grabbed Lance’s attention. Lance beamed brightly, stomach forgotten, as he leapt to his feet and hugged the breath out of Hunk. “What happened?”
“Keith found out about the venom,” Coran answered him, moving to the door. “It did not go over well.”

Allura Harlow puts together a task force consisting of five people. Takashi 'Shiro' Shirogane, a retired Airmen. Katie 'Pidge' Holt, a NASA computer engineer and secret hacker. Tsuyoshi 'Hunk' Garrett, a NASA mechanical engineer. Keith Kogane, FBI agent and little brother to Shiro. And last but not least, the criminal known as 'Blue Lion', and who goes by the name 'Lance McClain'.
The team isn't 100 percent if that's his real name, but it's what they call him. Together, along with Coran Smyth, Allura’s friend, advisor and protector, the seven of them will go up against the international enemy of the world, a terrorist by the name of 'Zarkon'.

Keith Kogane is an agent for the FBI, and been solely focused on apprehending a criminal they know only as 'Blue Lion', due to the person's calling. An intricately made origami lion, made out of blue paper.
For three years he's tried to track this guy down, with no luck. Until he meets Allura Harlow's new team, which was led by his own brother. After Pidge helps close the case, the seven of them, including 'Blue Lion' go after Zarkon.
And it won't be easy.

Summary
A Very Original Modern AUTM. Voltron, but with less intergalactic peril and more Holt family. Mostly Shiro-centric but with spotlights on just about everybody. Domestic fluff and mental illness feels abound. (Keith has BPD, Shiro and Matt have PTSD, etc.) Lots of Broganes. A bunch of dorky engineers being dorks. Eventual Klance. Slow burn Shiro/Matt. Like... really, really slow. Like nine years worth of slow. Plenty of angst, but no sad endings.

Really great writing, good angst, good whump!
Chapter summaries so I remember what’s in here:Chapter 1:
Chapter 2: Allura and Keith kidnapped and locked in cages, Keith teaches Allura how to pick locks, they escape.
Chapter 3: Post-war, Lance is kidnapped while surfing and estranged from the other paladins and taken into space to an alien queen. Ends with him being drugged unconscious, part 1 of the prompt.
Chapter 4: Lance thinks he’s failed his first test at the Garrison because he didn’t know the answers in English and answered them all in Spanish. Hunk, still pretty new roommates with Lance, acts like the best friend he becomes and they help each other out.
Chapter 5: Keith is being held captive by some scientist people who treat him like a caged animal (sedative collar, control sticks, sedative injections for doctors’ visits using the collar, trying to ward off depression-caused illness by giving him puzzle cubes, etc) and have used shape-shifting abilities to make him distrust “paladins” attempting to rescue him. Until the real ones come, and they have to convince Keith to trust them and let them rescue him.

The Tupperware was empty, and Keith looked like he was contemplating licking the inside of the container. Instead Keith gnawed at his spoon, looking back at Hunk. He sent Hunk a wide smile.
“Thanks. It was delicious.” He said, his gaze warm. Hunk felt his crush, which had waned in the horror of Keith’s dietary choices, come back stronger than ever. His heart throbbed in his chest, and Hunk ducked his head.
“Y-y-yeah, man. A-anytime.” He sputtered nervously.

Summary
Lance and Keith meet six days into their second term at the Galaxy Garrison and lets say it doesn't go well. But these two are gonna have to figure things out quick if Lance, Hunk and Pidge want to not get booted from the Garrison by crazy Commander Iverson.

The whole situation was just ridiculous he couldn’t help but scoff. But this got some unwanted attention
“You got a problem?” and without missing a beat “Mullet-head.”
“Yeah, I do. You are NOT the best pilot here.” Blue Eyes stared him down marched right up to Keith,
“Yeah?” he said, “Think you’re better Robert Smith?”
Keith let his frown shift to a smirk, “Yeah, Valdez, I do.” Blue eyes stood there for a second as if he was trying to read what he was thinking, and then with a smirk said,
“Cuban, not Mexican. But nice try Di Angelo.” he said grinning like the idiot he was. That smile, those blue eyes, god he was obnoxious, Keith groaned,
“Whatever, Peter Parker” the kid chuckled a bit at that one, before turning on his heel to leave. Which meant, Keith won this round. He leaned back in his chair triumphantly.
Then Blue Eyes looked back over his shoulder flashing a smile,
“Lance… my name, it’s Lance.”
