Grillby has a perfectly normal attraction to his long-time friend and nightly regular at his bar, Sans. He's been dying for a chance to act on that attraction but keeps backing-out before he can follow-through. After patiently biding his time for the perfect moment he finally makes his move.
Sans is contently unattached to anyone romantically. He has his friends, he has his brother, he has the bar and Grillby's usually quiet but comforting company. What more could he need? He hasn't considered a life outside of living with his brother and the occasional random hook-up to blow off steam. Sure, he's noticed Grillby, he's not blind after all. But from the outside looking in, it's always felt like Grillby was just as happy being single as Sans is. Being a single dad, even with a grown kid, probably changes your standards for a partner anyway. Well, until Grillby kidnaps him that is.
Waking up chained to a bed kind of changes your perception of a guy.

Summary
After thousands of unrelenting resets, Frisk has finally acheived it- the truly perfect ending. Asriel was saved, Chara was here and she even brought back the long lost W.D Gaster back from the void! With the help of everyone, they even got Goatdad and Goatmom to be together again! And to spruce things up, they all live in one big house together. Everything felt like it was to good to be true, just perfect. Everyone should be happy, right?
Sans's night terrors has gotten worse over the past few months. The comedic skeleton avoided all of them to settle it by himself but his dear family was sickly worried.
And so a memory machine was built, though Frisk had a baaad feeling about the turns of event.

She felt her soul being yanked backward, and so her body followed along. She fell on a patch of grass just near the bridge and didn't quite bother standing up.
The sound of the trousle of bones came near, and eventually, a tall skeleton was looking down at her. "HELLO HUMAN! YOU HAVE TO BE MORE CAREFUL, YOU MAY HAVE FALLEN THERE!" his voice beamed.
The skeleton struck an oddly heroic pose before continuing, "LUCKILY FOR YOU, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS WAS NEARBY! NYEH HEH HEH!"

As Papyrus ventures out to retrieve his scarf from the underground, he notices a potential friend falling off a bridge.

Summary
Monster were freed by Frisk the human, who had disappeared after the barrier broke 25 years ago. No one knows where Frisk went. They soon be came a legend.
A few years later, Toriel died from an assassination, poison to be more accurate, 11 years after Monster where were freed from the Underground. Asgore declared war on humans, almost whipping them out. From 80 million humans soon became seven-hundred. Asgore was wounded in battle, and was soon killed the same way Toriel did, by poison. Asgore's dust was buried next to Toriel's, at the start of the underground.
No one became the king. Instead, Monsters adopted the same things humans once had. (Presidents and stuff like that). If a hostile human was found, they were killed on the spot.
14 years later, Sans went back to the Underground to get something from his old lab, that was beside his and Papyrus's old house. As he was about to head back he saw someone he hadn't seen for a long time.
Flowey.
Sans, curious, followed Flowey back to the start of the underground. Where he found a hooded person watering the flowers that sat on the royal family's graves.

Sans and Frisk together have managed to get Frisk through Snowdin without the human being identified and captured. They both know that to be handed over to Undyne and delivered to Asgore would be a fate worse than death even in the brutal, violent Underground. Frisk is his friend, the first friend that Sans can remember having, and even if they're a human he knows they don't deserve to die.
Unfortunately, all their efforts aren't quite enough to escape the notice of The Great Papyrus. Out in the open and with nowhere to hide, his prey knows there's no escaping his pursuit.
Sans makes a stand so that Frisk can get away. Papyrus makes him pay for it. Somehow, a lot of things get said in the meantime that they'd both forgotten might ever have needed saying.
