Summary
As a child 'Key' trusted a charming man with a warm smile. He believed what the man told him, because after all you can be anything you want and magic is real. But the man should never have been trusted. The man changed him in ways that could never be undone. The man gave him a new name and a new purpose. Key isn't human now, he isn't a vampire either. He is Nothing, he is No one. He provides for his masters and he lets them continue their experiments, with no where else to go and nothing else to live for. This is the way things are, the way they always will be.
At least, that is, until Key's new mark turns out to be a vampire himself. A vampire that belongs to another coven.Key suddenly finds himself in a war between his masters and an old enemy, questions piling upon questions and his own life hanging in the balance.
TW: This story contains depictions of highly sensitive content including experimentation on a body of someone who can not consent and from a young age. Key is with the coven from a young age and they condition him to always say yes and not fight back. He is an adult in the main story but it does contain flashbacks.
