    Leaving Siberia behind him with Bucky finally at his side, Steve foolishly thought all the consequences of his choice had been dealt with. He couldn't even begin to fathom the immensity of the butterfly effect that the events of Siberia would have caused.     The Wen have moved against both the Lan and Jiang Sects. Cloud Recesses has fallen victim to their new weapon the Sun Striker, while Lotus Pier has been subjugated. The members of the Lan and Jiang Sects are adrift, hiding in the shadows while Wen Ruohan establishes himself as Emperor in the Imperial Senate. Across the galaxy, safety becomes an illusion.

    Lan Wangji is out patrolling along the edges of what had been considered Gusu Lan space when he receives a broken distress call. Code Black - the most urgent call that can be made, yet there is no locator beacon attached. Buried underneath the surface is another message, one that sparks hope that maybe everything has not been lost.

     

    The signal is weak, crackling with static, and of unknown origin.
    Still, there is something different about this message.
    Lan Wangji can almost feel it.
