    Where vigilantes and heroes could have a nice chat over tea.
    Where treatment (and treats) were given out freely.

    Where societal tags (and their due expectations) were shot and murdered at the front door.
    And if you ignored this rule, you too were shot and murdered at the front door.
    By whom was a gamble.

    Everybody knew about the tiny apartment on the East End of L'manberg.

    Everybody also knew that if you touched any of the occupants, well...
    You'd have the entirety of super-powered society (underground and otherwise) gunning for your head.

    Tommy Innit, the owner of said apartment, lived quite the interesting life.
    Seriously, he just wanted to bake cookies, what just happened?

    He wakes up in the middle of a battle with a walking, talking mountain and quickly realizes any and all memories of his life are gone.

    And that he’s supposed to be the world's number one hero, Aimatheos.

    Course, that’s fine, he can just live his life as a regular civilian until he can regain his memories.

    Of course, life loves to fuck him up because after he saves some random guy from being robbed, suddenly the city of L’Manburg’s most dangerous supervillains are all up in his business. They don’t know he’s their worst enemy, and he plans to keep it that way.

    “Hello?” they greeted, clearly swimming with confusion, much like how Aimatheos was swimming in absolute dread.

    This was not a chad. This was no chad at all. This person radiated Dad™ energy. Oh no, not a father figure.

    Where there was a dad, there were children. He didn’t think he liked those all that much.

    The Puppeteer tilts his head. “They say you wear more gold than any king and the last sound a man hears before you snap his neck is the chink of your jewellery.”

    “I don’t kill,” Techno denies even though he's seconds away from keeling over, the inside of his boots slippery with his own blood. “Pretty stupid to wear jewelry too. Dead giveaway.”

    The hero chuckles coldly. “What happened to the Eggpire, then?"

    Color drains from Techno's face as he finally understands what the Puppeteer's return means for him, that in the eyes of the hero he's as much a villain as Skeppy was.

    The man leans forward and Techno nearly jumps into the icy river all by himself, the eerie smiley face too much to bear. “Tell me, Caesar, do you at least remember the names of those you killed?”

    Before Techno can react in any way the Puppeteer brutally grabs his scarf and tugs, slowly strangling him with Tommy's late christmas present. He desperately latches onto the hero’s fingers, trying to pry them off but failing.

    “His name was Sapnap,” The Puppeteer snarls. “And he was a good man.”

    Aka the vigilante!Technoblade fic where Techno just wants to be a good person but ends up making things a whole lot worse.

Her heart was beating fast enough to be slightly concerning, and it was like she was sixteen again. She wanted to sit by the cafe doors, ready to attack her family in a hug the moment they walked through the door. Phil would kiss her forehead and Techno would ruffle her hair and Wilbur would tell her how much he had missed his favorite sister.

    The Blood God is a young vigilante who sometimes teams up with a friendly hero, Crowfather. After an unfortunate encounter with some villains who mistook Blood God for a hero and thought a truth serum would get him to spill all the hero society secrets they wanted, the young vigilante finds that not only can he NOT lie, he also feels compelled to truthfully answer questions.

    Techno, codename Blood God, is NOT happy when his maybe-ally Crowfather has a few important questions for him. He can't be a hero one day if he ends up arrested now, so who can blame him for not wanting to risk revealing his secret identity to the one hero who's actually treated him kindly?

    Even if Techno doesn't know it at the time, Crowfather really does want to help his young ally, and he may just have the perfect way to do that.

    Philza Minecraft is stressed because he brought plenty juice boxes along to support his sons' vigilante cosplay game—but he only has two cheese cracker packs left, and then they'll have to share.

    Meanwhile at Headquarters, retired heroes Sam and Puffy try and fail to tame a wild pack of super-powered children. The only trouble is that their powers are like, completely scuffed.
    And yet, they get along causing property damage just fine.

    Tommy could heal Phil, that was no issue. The issue lay in Tommy surviving. He still felt weak from healing Techno’s stab wound from the day before, and even weaker from Wilbur’s gunshot wound the day before that. Realistically, Tommy couldn’t heal Phil in a way that would save him, not without Tommy dying.

    Techno started yelling.

    “Fix him, Theseus! He’s dying. Do what you’re good at! This is the only thing you’re good for!”

    Calling himself the Crowfather had been a joke. Honestly. No matter what Sneeg might swear behind Phil’s back, the only ‘children’ he’d had in mind when he’d picked his villain name had been crows, and still only in a metaphorical sense.

    The point where the problem came in, was when he started collecting actual kids. Like a damn magnet, actually. He didn’t mean to, but they just kept showing up, with puppy eyes and head injuries, and saying ‘oh, Crowfather, could you teach me to throw knives’, and ‘oh, Crowfather, tell me how to control my powers’, and ‘Crowfather, how does it feel to fly?’

    Anyways, he never went into a situation intending to keep the little shits. Really, he didn't.
