“You remember my name, but little else.” It’s spoken as a statement for Jayce to confirm, not a question. “Nothing of how we met.”
Jayce edges closer to the barrier.
“No, not - Not technically.” He considers for a moment, and only a moment, what he should reveal. But if the parts of him that remember are insisting he put his faith in Victor, there must be good reason for it.
“I didn’t - don’t, remember you, but I know you. I can feel it.”
“How can you-”
“And I trust you, Viktor. Something tells me I’m allowed to do that.”
