Worse, the world is too bright, and the smug bastard has the audacity to look at him like he hung the stars. Cloud just wants to find Aerith, get answers, and maybe not deal with this soulmate nonsense
Genesis Rhapsodos, meanwhile, has waited years for their final soulmate to appear. only for him to be a battle-worn blond who doesn’t even believe in soulmates
Unacceptable. But Genesis is nothing if not determined. If Cloud thinks he can outrun fate, he’s got another thing coming

Summary
Metas have been quite common since about thirty years prior after several retconned worlds. Some of the more common ones being those capable of manipulating objects to a short extent, and a few with fire? Though animalistic traits aren't too rare either. Magic contaminates the world by now, seeping into cracks in pavement and bloodstreams alike. Shining lights dancing in the nights, painting the sky in colors. Or a pond, reflecting more than should be possible. This takes a great deal of attention from those who have gifts from outside of this phenomena, even if they don't mind it much. Though as it happens, turns out abandoned baby birds can and will swarm a bat for a parent.

Summary
Dick was abducted by the Court of Owls after his parents' death. Years later, Batman destroys the Gotham Court which allows Dick to flee. He meets and saves Jason on the streets. They become best brothers and live in (for them) relative peace until they stumble upon that pesky Batman who makes things complicated. But don't worry, they make it far more complicated for him...
If you're a fan of long stories that deal with redemption, trauma and found family, this might be for you. :)

Summary
After his arrival on earth, Clark has been adopted by the sun spirit. Even if he’s not possessed, he and the spirit share a special bond. Which means Clark doesn’t much like the dark. But when Lex Luthor starts buying up property in Gotham he decides it’s time to pay Metropolis’ gloomy sister city a visit. Gotham has a few surprises in store for him, though. Since there are rumors of Luthor being interested in the old Wayne manor, which is supposed to be abandoned ever since Bruce Wayne died at age 13, Clark begins his investigation there. Only, the manor isn’t as empty as it should be.
Ever since Bruce has been possessed by the spirit of a Bat at the age of 13 his existence has been a rather lonely one. He’s been declared dead and thanks to his nocturnal lifestyle he’s been confined to the manor, only really able to go out at night. Still, he and his kids have built a life for themselves. Then a certain mid-western journalist comes stumbling directly into the Bat’s lair and suddenly Bruce’s secret is in danger of being discovered. It doesn’t help that the Bat - and himself - are strangely drawn to Clark Kent from the start. Of course that’s when Superman shows up and makes things infinitely more complicated.
