Summary
Gimli Durinson was spending his day off wandering town and trying to keep his cousins Fili and Kili out of trouble. They were entering a restaurant when he saw a man's coat slip off the back of his chair. Trying to be nice, Gimli picked the coat up and placed it back on the man's chair. He had to be fake fur, right? No one wore real fur these days. "I think you dropped your coat."
He never thought this act would wind up with him getting accidentally married. How is he going to explain this one to his Dad?

Summary
It starts with the death of King Itham of Fallinel. Riz's abduction by the Court of Stars would've been a non-starter if it hadn't been revealed that he was the last of the king's line after his father's sisters refused the throne. Someone should've warned the Court of Stars the consequences of taking one of their own. It's a no holds barred rescue mission and if the Bad Kids have to dismantle the Court of Stars, so be it.
But it won't end there. The Shadow Cat is manipulating events from the shadows and it's up to the Bad Kids to find out what's rotten in the material plane, no matter the cost.Series

Summary
An Odyssey Fanfiction based on EPIC: the musical, and a tumblr post I read a while back of Odysseus meeting and adopting the prophet Cassandra, who had been cursed so that "Nobody would believe her."
Of course, if he's going to adopt Cassandra, who he never met in the OG story... why not adopt the kid he was supposed to yeet over a wall, and perhaps change the fate of what's supposed to happen along the way!?
But having a seer on board is not as helpful as I thought it would be...

Summary
Goblins don't traditionally have soulmates the way that most other humanoids do. Meaning, of course, they don't have soulmates at all. You just date whichever goblin you'd like and live your life with them. A human girl in his 3rd-grade class had asked him why he ‘wrote so much that there wasn't room for his soulmate’. Her mother got her removed from his class after she went home and talked about “The goblin who doesn't know what soulmates are.”

Summary
It goes like this: Pok Askandi dies young, swallowed down by a dragonborn, and works straight on through his afterlife. He goes on one mission to the mortal plane after his death, and no more.
It goes like this: Sklonda Gukgak has a one-night stand with a man she can't find afterward, as if he's dropped off the face of the planet. Then her son comes out with celestial markings, and she realizes just why she couldn't find Pok. Now, all she has to do is raise an angel kid. No problem. She's got this, surely. Definitely.
It goes like this: Riz Gukgak grows up aasimar, and decides he's better off without his magic. It's only ever messed things up. It's only ever made his life harder, and gods know his life was never going to be easy in the first place. He's better off swallowing it. If he never uses it, surely he can't drown in it. He can just not use it. He can be a rogue and push down all the magic and it won't have to matter that there's celestial power in him. No problem. It's a foolproof plan, right up until his freshman year. Then everything starts to go off the rails. But he's got this, surely. Definitely.

Summary
Charlie lingers in the locker room long after all the other boys have left, almost as if he doesn’t want any of them to see where he’s going, and that more than anything convinces Nick that he’s got to do something to find out what’s wrong. So when Nick leaves the locker room, he turns a corner and then hovers there, waiting to see which direction Charlie goes.
He’s not sure what he’s expecting—maybe that Charlie’s sneaking off to see Ben again? But Charlie doesn’t meet up with Ben. He doesn’t meet up with anyone. Instead, he ducks into a broom cupboard and emerges five minutes later in pajamas with a rucksack slung over his shoulders and what looks like a sleeping bag tucked under his arm.
Nick comes out from around the corner. “Charlie? What are you doing?”
xx
A closeted Charlie comes out to his parents after Ben assaults him. When his mum kicks him out of the house, Nick and Sarah take him in instead.

Summary
...
The tides were rising.
Jason Todd could feel them when he walked the streets, green acid sloshing at his ankles. It wasn’t really there, he knew. The green was a figment of his imagination, a physical manifestation of his perception of the fear around him. The poison waves had risen since Batman split his throat in two.
The tides were rising, faster by the day.
What if they swallowed Gotham?
Jason couldn't let that happen....
The tides were rising.
Percy Jackson stood by the docks; he'd watched nine bodies drop into the dark waters. Each one made the steadily rising water go up just a little more. He wasn't supposed to be in this city. It didn't matter that he'd indirectly killed Gabe, but there was no regret in his thoughts on the matter. Gabe had beaten his mother to death.
The tides were rising, faster by the hour.
Was there someone sitting by the water?
Percy couldn't let them drown....

“Morning, Thimble,” she said, barely holding in a yawn. “What brings you here so early?”
“New idea,” he whispered, enthused. He held out a scrap of paper with both paws, slightly crinkled beneath his fingers.
Viv took it between finger and thumb and inspected it carefully. Heavy cream, cocoa powder, corn starch.
