Bill did not trust himself enough to speak. Instead, he nodded. Olaf slowly crawled out of his sleeping bag and staggered over to the front of the tent. Silently, he gripped Bill's shoulder. Frozen tears formed on his cheeks as he wept.
"May the good God bring you home safe, my friend."
"And you," Bill replied, though he had given up his belief in the almighty on this hellish journey. "Get back safe to that pretty wife of yours, and give her a child or two."
"If I do, one of them will share your name. Go now, before my heart breaks." He knelt on the frozen canvas and unzipped the front flap.
Bill Carter took one last deep breath, and committed suicide.

This turned out to be a slow burner—wasn’t the plan, but here we are. It’s sci-fi with a touch of mystery, dry humor, and a heavy dose of dialogue. Story and character come first. There’s some sexuality, some violence, and a lot of character building (we can all improve, right?). If you’re into immersive scenes, flawed people, and glitchy emotional beats, welcome aboard.
A small-town detective, frustrated by a string of missing residents and a total lack of leads, thinks he’s finally caught a break when a tip sends him to an evening dinner party. There, he meets a charming woman—but to his disappointment, he leaves the party empty-handed and no closer to solving the case.
On his way home—or so he thought—he’s nearly struck by a falling corpse. As he stops to investigate, a mysterious creature appears, wearing what looks like the shredded remains of a burgundy evening gown. The creature takes the body and disappears into the night leaving the detective in a befuddled state.
Once again, the detective is left empty-handed... and with even more questions than before.

Around 2023, I couldn't find a single, long, fully fleshed out romantic story about everyone's favourite skullwolf that wasn't in progress or straight up abandoned, so I began writing one. Initially, it was just for myself but when I was about halfway done, I began posting it here. And people liked it! It was a great motivation to finish it. Shout out to all who stuck along for the ride. I'll treasure your support forever.
The story is focused on the slow progression of the relationship between Mal0 and the first person protagonist Anon.
Since most information about Mal0 is [REDACTED], there is a lot of artistic freedom to invent the reason behind her existence. I'm trying to stay true to the rules of the bond she has with her host while creating some new ones to spice things up.
Anon slowly uncovers the mystery behind his love-deprived stalker who yearns for nothing more than a friend, learns to accept her into his life and maybe someday... goes a little further than that. -

The story will follow from a third person perspective, describing the life of both Eli and Izzy in both high school and in adulthood through major 'timeskips' in chapters. You’ll get to see both sides having to confront personal, cultural and political problems from their opposing worlds and hopefully find common ground… perhaps even something more.
