Summary
A brief history of the lemon pig:
Mentioned in books, magazines and newspapers as early as the mid-1800s, lemon pigs were little more than a cheap craft project for children and adults. Though this amusing dinner table decoration was quite popular in homes across the U.S. during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, by the 1960s the lemon pig had sadly faded into obscurity. Fortunately, in 2017 a cookbook author stumbled upon an image from a retro party planning book sponsored by a major aluminum company, and with the addition of the coin to its mouth, the lemon pig was reborn as a New Year’s good luck tradition.
This whimsical AU scene is set in and inspired by the Divisible By Three series created by Voodoosgirl in which post-CA:CW Steve, Bucky, Sam and Natasha all live together in an old farmhouse in upstate NY and the relationship between Sam and Bucky is akin to an intense sibling rivalry.

Summary

Orphaned at the age of 14, tiny Stevie Rogers had to fend for himself after a brutal assault left him traumatized and alone on the streets of Kingston. By selling his father’s rare shell collection, Stevie manages to obtain a used sailboat and snorkeling gear in order to become a shell-hunter. A growth-spurt at 16 and the daily exertion of free-diving transformed him, but 7 years later he still remains alone and distrustful of people. Summary
My soul sister Voodoosgirl and I began toying around with the idea for a dark and creepy Stucky fic collaboration back in 2022, and by "collaboration" I mean Voodoosgirl is handling the actual writing of the fic (the most difficult part, imo) while my contribution is the cover art. Then, of course, Real Life happened and the project was placed on hold indefinitely, but I was struck by the mood to post something to AO3 for Halloween this year. It was a bit of a last-minute impulse, so I didn't have time to create a new sketch, and the only artwork I already had on file that would be appropriate for the occasion was this piece depicting Steve Rogers with a big black crow. Unfortunately, I can't divulge further details since any hints would ruin the fic that will eventually be posted by Voodoosgirl. So, with my sister's blessing, I present the cover art for The Curse. Happy Halloween!

Sam: "You know how they can't keep their damn hands off each other on a normal day...well, uh, I accidentally walked in on them while they were suiting up a few weeks ago and apparently they're completely uncontrollable when Steve is in his stealth gear and Barnes is wearing all that black bondage stuff."
