Summary

Summary
The best descriptor for Reigen’s little project was “investigation”. For his study to be worthy of such a nomenclature, it required a minimum of the empirical method. No space for ambiguities. No baseless theories. A rigorous use of principles such as “logic” and “common sense” helped him to build his first conclusion: the world is full of spirits. The world is void of espers.
However, as worldly knowledge usually goes, no thesis is final. A single black swan was enough to disprove an age-old proverb that all swans were white. Similar to this, the very foundation of Reigen’s verdict fell apart with a series of testimonies.

Summary
The basic concept for this AU is that, while Asta does get his grimoire as in canon, he doesn't get into the magic knights because Yami gets food poisoning the night before the exam and spends the day at home.
He doesn't want to return to Hage right away, though, so he winds up spending some more time in the capital, doing odd jobs using his physical strength... and by chance, Owen happens to notice him using his quasi-supernatural life advice abilities on other civilians. There are never enough trained therapists, since it's generally considered a boring speciality, so Owen offers him a job as an apprentice recovery mage in the royal capital's hospital.
It's not the same as being a magic knight at all, but the main driver behind Asta's dreams has always been helping people, so he decides he might as well give it a shot!
(Also featuring Asta being almost magically lovable, and Liebe trying his darnedest to protect the kid he's decided is his baby brother despite very possibly being older.)

Summary
During the first fight between Yhwach and Ichigo (Chapter 513), Ichigo is knocked unconscious. Yhwach takes the chance and kidnaps Ichigo, planning on "re-educating" him to his side. Without Zangetsu, badly injured and under Yhwach's control, Ichigo promises to survive, no matter what. Yhwach knows Ichigo would be a valuable asset to his side and isn't willing to give up until Ichigo falls in line. It's a battle of the wills, but Yhwach has the upper hand.
What's that old saying? Spare the rod and spoil the child? Yhwach has taken that teaching to heart.

Without Taro, Shin would surely fall. Even so, he tries desperately to pull himself up, to continue in a way that makes something in Taro’s chest break itself open and empty out onto the grimy asphalt road.
“Now we– store?” He asks, one hand coming up to paw at Taro’s forearm. “Don’t– I don’t have my uniform, sorry. I think– did I forget it?”
It’s nearing ten pm. The store wouldn’t be open even if this were an average work day, and even if it were ten am on an average work day, the store would still be closed, because Shin is running a fever high enough to fry an egg and the rest of their family is worried sick about it.
