Dream is blind but he's a bat hyrbid with good hearing. Technoblade finds out and he's concerned for his friend. He stays with him and keeps him company, he also ensures Dream doesn't go too far and hurts himself with his stupid ideas. So what if Phil adopts him along the way and Drista causes chaos with Tommy and Tubbo? Technoblade will protect his friend to the ends of the Earth, screw whoever looked at him weird if he gets all fussy.
(Basically just Technoblade and Dream being best friends fluff. There's angst, I'm sorry)

Tommy is a regular human, if you count having healing powers as regular. He doesn't want to get involved in all the hero/villain shit, and he hasn't for the past 7 years, successfully flying under the radar, however that all changes when he witnesses a gruesome fight. As a result of this fight, he is forced to make a difficult choice: to stay out of it or help the most dangerous villains in the city.

Everyone knows Ranboo isn’t an avian. He knows this. His friends know this. Everyone knows this. So why- Why in the name of Prime have the two top heroes gone after him, and called him a baby bird, multiple times?
What makes it worse is he’s friends with the son of a bird hybrid, and that bird hybrid has another son who’s also a bird hybrid, and both of them are doing the same thing.
He just wants to be a normal person by day and a vigilante by night, but between getting smothered and failing at finding paying jobs he can actually work at, it seems that plan has failed.

Dream is hurting. He's been for months. Or at least he thinks so, he lost sense of time long ago. He can't remember the sun anymore, he can barely remember the faces of his once friends that he lost. So when George appears in his cell he brushes it of as another hallucination. But his hallucinations usually don't touch him ...
Or: Sam can no longer ignore his guilt for letting Quackity into prison, so in attempt to help Dream at least a little he lets George in. George isn't pleased with what he found
