The hero is sat on the ground, his wings wrapped around him like a shield. Dabi has never seen him do that. Like ever. He makes his flame bigger as he comes closer. He crouches in front of the hero, reaching to touch the red feathers.
He recoils with a cry when the tips of his fingers are slit open. Fucker has hardened his feathers, turning them into sharp blades.
He curses under his breath, sucking on his digits, the tang of blood bitter on his tongue. There’s really something wrong here.

Summary
