which is why, when he finds out steve rogers is in desperate need of tutoring in order to stay on the football team and keep his college scholarship, tony makes a deal with steve. all steve has to do is essentially bodyguard tony under the guise of a relationship, and tony will tutor steve in return.
oh, and tony's got a shitty ex who won't leave him alone. that makes befriending (falling for) steve pretty difficult.

Holy shit the moment he mentioned how heimdall didnt send help, i knew what the fuck happened. It was intense and horrifyingly good.
