Summary
There exists a different timeline where John accepts Jade’s offer to jump through her and join Dave, Karkat, and the others on their three year journey on the meteor. Through some twist in the fabric of time, space and at least three other metaphorical abstractions, John and Karkat become boyfriend…matesprit… things and do boyfriend-matesprit stuff. Now suddenly Karkat isn’t feeling well? Both species will end up learning a few things that they may not have wanted to about Troll Biology.
Also contains weird bullshit science, gratuitous switching of POV, weird game mechanics, teenagers totally having sex, prankster shenanigans, dumb kids being dumb, stupid portmanteau words where I try to be clever, and many other things that may or may not have to do with alien boy pregnancy. Summary
After Dave Strider lost his Bro in a car accident, he became mute, refusing to talk to anyone, not even himself. He moves in with his cousin Dirk and now goes to Sburb High, where he is bullied for his white hair and silence. He tries to cope but eventually turns to darker methods. After he gets physically assaulted in the hall by the usual group of asshats, he's found by a certain Vantas who, being the actual nice guy that he usually pretends not to be, takes pity on him and fixes him up in a nearby bathroom. So what happens when their relationship starts to deepen and Dave starts to feel things he doesn't believe he deserves to feel? What about when Karkat, who's usually so vulgar and venomous, finally learns that love isn't a one-sided thing for him?
