It felt like forever had passed in between their last conversation, their last goodbye. Definitely forever since he had seen Orym and the eternal sadness etched in the face of a man far too young to have deserved it. Dorian hadn’t even realized a tear had escaped until the chill of the wind through the open window touched upon his cheek. He gripped the sending stone, dimming the glow further between his fingers, and steeled himself. He will see Orym again.
