Caleb doesn’t fully remember why he chose the Lavish Chateau as his destination in a hasty, scrambled teleport attempt. He remembers being split from Essek, Essek desperately shouting for him to go, and fumbling through the teleport spell. He only thought had been ‘safe’ and he had teleported away.
Apparently, ‘safe’ meant collapsing out of the teleport directly into the lobby of the Lavish Chateau...
Little soft oneshot. Doesn't really have a good ending. I just wrote it in a half hour and posted it with no thoughts past that
