Summary
Michael Guerin is a hotshot wildlands firefighter; Alex Manes is hiding out in a cabin no one knows about in the high mountains. There's a widlfire approaching and Michael is assigned to get everyone in his area out. But not everything is as it seems.

There is a torrent of emotions that runs between them, one that Alex assumes means nothing to Michael since he is bound by different rules. He also assumes Michael's feelings for him can't run nearly as deep as his own run for the prince. Alex sees no problem in letting Forrest have a little fun with him, that is until Michael catches them and asserts his ownership and his feelings for Alex.

Maria Deluca and Alex Manes had been partners, both in the X-Files department and in marriage, for years. They each had their own reasons to search for the truth, and it just made sense to do it together.
Michael Guerin was just a con trying to keep his head down, serve his time, and not attract the wrong type of attention.
He definitely had not bargained on being loaned out to a couple of alien hunters.

Summary
