It is when the fifth test in a row displays the little “+” sign that Joseph accepts that maybe, just maybe, he is pregnant.
To say that Joseph's year does not go as he expected is the understatement of the century.

What if going undercover as Ray Vecchio is more of a 'fresh start' than meets the eye.
Sometimes you have to runaway from yourself before you can find yourself.
And meeting Benton Fraser doesn't hurt either.

Summary
Ray briefly kissed Fraser on the cheek, just to make sure that any passerby really had something to stare at. Vecchio was busy trying to unjam the trunk, and Frannie was busy applying lip liner with near-surgical precision, so for a moment it felt like it was just the two of them in a city of a million. The wind bit at Ray’s cheeks, and he squeezed Fraser’s hand in a sort of parting gesture.
Fraser blushed, and smoothed down his sweater. “Would you like some help with that trunk, Ray?”
“No,” both Rays said, and then looked at each other.
“Ah,” Fraser said. “This may be difficult.”
“You could call him Annoying Ray.” Frannie suggested. “Or Grouchy Ray. Chicago Ray.”
“I’m afraid that still wouldn’t resolve the issue,” Fraser said.

Has anyone ever liked you for who you are instead of what you do? OR:
“You ever seen Looney Tunes?” You ask. You wanna say that he looks like an angel from the Bible, like he belongs on a scratcher ticket in Chicago winter, but those words don’t make sense, and he’s gonna think that you’re looney tunes, that the last concussion (brick wall, barrel of a pistol against your face and Fraser worriedly watching you put a bag of peas on it while you filled out an injury form at your desk) was one too many.

Summary
The bad news was that the room was small, cold, and looked like it had been decorated by a ten-year-old kid who had wet dreams about warp cores. The good news was that it had a fully-stocked mini bar. The really bad news was that it only had one bed, but Ray had high hopes that the good news was going to help him forget about that.

Summary
The Lone Traveler was created by another author over a decade ago. I asked permission to write stories with the character but the author never responded. He also disappeared from the fanfiction universe. So after two years, I went ahead.
Originally a tortured soul, he healed himself by helping others and, eventually, was promoted for his good works.
The occasional story may be added, but I have taken it to the farthest conclusion I can go: The Lone Traveler meeting the figure which, in the author's opinion, inspired the concept of a super-powered Harry Potter.
It doesn't end with dramatic action. It ends quietly with a concept of hope. After all, hope was the driving force behind the character the entire time.

Today called for Ray or Kowalski blending in and doing the talking, having a couple drinks if that was the way it went, while Fraser scoped the joint, gathered evidence, paid attention so he could be a good witness and most importantly, (really, Ray felt, this was a thing that should go without saying) didn’t get drunk, open his big honest mouth and say something incredibly stupid.

Summary
When Constable Benton Fraser drags Detective Ray Kowalski into yet another case that spirals wildly out of control, Ray thinks the worst he’ll suffer is frostbite, boredom, and a few bruised ribs. But between snowdrifts, exploding coffee contraptions, missing mascots, and one very opinionated wolf, Ray discovers that Fraser’s steady presence means more to him than he’s willing to admit.
And Fraser, usually composed and impossibly polite, blurts out a confession at the least romantic moment imaginable—leaving them both to figure out what happens when partnership, loyalty, and love collide.
Equal parts comedy and romance, this story follows Fraser and Kowalski through snow, coffee, wolves, and every complication that comes with falling for your partner.

Summary
(What if Vecchio had not pulled the trigger? What if Fraser had leapt onto the train unscathed and fled with Victoria? And what if, eventually, Fraser had come back? This story draws on first and second series only.)
"But–" He took a deep breath. "If you had shot her, Ray, I doubt I could have forgiven you. No matter what she did. To either of us."
Lips pressed into a tiny, dark smile, Vecchio said, "Wasn't her I almost shot."
"Ah." And then Fraser smiled, too; the same sort of smile. "Well, in that case, maybe I could have."
"It would have been one way of saving you from yourself," Vecchio pointed out precisely. "You'd still be a Mountie, Fraser. Your record would be clean." He pursed his lips. "We'd still be friends."
"Yes." Fraser folded both hands around the mug. He needed its warmth. "That would be presuming you hadn't killed me?"
