Summary
It was a new world Jynn found herself waking up to, so much had changed within those 20 years of experimentation and imprisonment in that suit. She was thankful to be free of that hell but hesitant to take on the roll she found herself thrusted back into. Commander of XCOM, a mere memory of what it once was. They had a lot on their plate, build up the resistance, sabotage ADVENT and the aliens, and take back the Earth from the Elders.
It was no help that the Elders wanted her back badly. Hunting them down like a pack of wild dogs, undermining their cause at every turn. And then those Chosen, another layer of annoyance XCOM and the Resistance had to deal with. Just how integral was she to Their to their Psionic Network? Was there something more? -

Zhang found himself among a group of strange people, unfortunate souls experimented on by their new alien overlords. He still wondered how they even escaped the hellish facility but he was thankful he was no longer being tortured.
He wondered how many years had past since his imprisonment, since his role as a mole, an informant, was blown. He had a lot of time to ponder about that as his body had to heal from years of torture. He would be stuck with this group for awhile as they wandered about.

Summary
For Millenia the Monsters underneath Mt. Ebott saw the Surface World as a place of Freedom, whether that be Freedom from the Mortal Coil or Freedom in the Prisoner sense depended on the monster. But unknown to them between the Seventh and Eighth Fallen Children, the Surface was Conquered and Stolen from Humanity.
Frisk, a veritable Saint among both species and The Eighth Fallen Child, changed. From being completely unmarred by the harshness of the World (represented as Level Of ViolencE 1, the lowest LOVE possible and still being alive) to being raised by a Resistance Cell. But one niggling question plagued Frisk's mind as he journeyed through the Underground:
