Summary
Ayub, Simon, Rosh, Wilhelm, and Yasmina were gathered at Isabelle’s Karaoke Restaurant in Bjärstad. Ayub and Rosh had invited Wille and Simon to come, and they couldn’t resist. Yasmina was here because she and Rosh had gotten back together a month prior, and were very in love with each other. Rekindling that spark did good for them.
Simon hadn’t been here since the whole thing with Marcus, and Wille for one was happy to come here and make new better (much much much better) memories. The only memory he has of this place is seeing Ayub’s Insta story, then proceeding almost to take down the monarchy. (To be honest, he still wants to do that, it just takes some planning and not a phone call to his mother and the Royal Court.)

In order to calm himself, he took a deep breath, but eventually continued: “It was me in that video that got leaked last term.”— he cleared his throat — “The one with me and Simon.”
Immediately, cameras flashed, and the entire crowd seemed to gasp. Somebody exclaimed `what´.
He saw Jan-Olof immediately gesturing at the camera, making them stop filming. Cameras continued flashing. He was blinded by the flashes, his vision was blurry. His throat was closing, however, he had to continue: “It was a, … um… a moment I didn’t want to share, with anyone else, so I lied about it. But it was me.”
Wilhelm turned around and looked straight into Simons smiling face. For him, h had done the right thing. For Simon. There was just not only Simon.
Slowly and hesitantly, he began turning back around. The smile on his face dropped almost automatically. The short interaction, the gave him an escape out of the situation could not last forever. The escapism was temporarily.
His eyes shifted over the crowd, but drifted off to the clear sky. Erik.

“Did you know he would say that?” Felice blurts out. Simon just quietly shakes his head. No, he hadn’t. In fact, he finally had agreed that he would be with Wille in secret so saying that the Crown Prince’s change of speech had come as a surprise for him would be an understatement. The corners of his mouth turn into a smile. If Simon had slipped Wilhelm a paper asking, “Do you love me?” this was Wilhelm writing “Yes I do” and signing it.

Sound came rushing back in – shouts and camera flashes from the press and television crews, excited chattering from the students, and mutters of disapproval from the Court.
