His whole world feels like it’s turning upside down. Then again, it’s felt like that ever since he managed to escape The Commission.
Because, for his entire conscious existence, he’s been trained to do one thing, and one thing only. His hands were not made for gentle kindness or soft touch. His hands were created for one thing, and one thing only: killing.
Through the brutality and the loss, he kept his head down and did everything he had to do to just survive. He thought he knew everything he needed to know about the world. The sun rises in the East and sets in the West. The sky is blue, grass is green.

Summary
Tommy has always felt pulled towards witchcraft. The warm tingling in his hands whenever he got into contact with anything even remotely magic, his constant urge to collect trinkets and clutter and his wild dreams were just examples for that. You could say he was born for it. But witchcraft is frowned upon and the only people who were allowed to tend to it properly were the witches of the Academy.
That doesn't stop Tommy from dipping his toes into the matter, in the most chaotic and dangerous ways possible.

“I don’t believe you for a second,” the villager said with a scoff. “Reviving the dead? You, a god? That’s the most preposterous thing I’ve heard in all my years.”
“Oh? You don’t believe me?” Dream smiled. “That’s okay, I’m more than willing to give you all a demonstration. Tommy,” he called, gesturing to the blond.
Tommy knew exactly what was going to happen, and he knew that there was no point in resisting, for it’d be over quicker if he gave up and went along with it (and if he struggled he’d really just be making a fool of himself). So he walked over to Dream, quietly, obediently, and stood facing the crowd. At least his death would be quick this time, he thought, as he shut his eyes and felt the cool of metal against his neck. One slash, and the world went dark.
Or: Tommy didn’t originally plan to hit the water when he jumped off the tower in Logsted, so he hit the ground instead. Dream decides that’s as good a time as any to test out the revival book, and upon succeeding, decides he’s a god and it’s high time he gained some followers.

Summary
There’s a lot of reasons Techno loved hockey.
He loved the frigid air hitting his face as he glided down the ice, loved the feeling of satisfaction every time he scored, loved the adrenalin rush he gets when chasing the puck down. He loves the game more than he loves a lot of things, since it is the reason he’s been so successful in college, but he also loves his team. He loves the skill each and every one of them has, loves the chemistry the whole team has, loves the individual relationships formed that made the lines stronger, made the defensive pairs almost unbeatable and the offensive lines unmatched.
What he doesn’t love is his teammates' obsession with figure skaters.
That is, until he meets Dream, who causes him to promptly forget any past aversion he had to simping for figure skaters.

Summary
When the Heroes Association shut down for good, most heroes had already been on suspension for months. It still felt so sudden. The titan that once ruled over not just Tommy’s entire life, but all of society, was gone.
In hindsight, the fall started even before the Syndicate existed. Maybe even before he was born. But every sign of a failing system felt like more proof it could never be undone. The rampant corruption and misuse of power were all symptoms of a diseased tyrant who died on his deathbed.
Now here they are. No more heroes.
