Summary
Astarion finds himself frequently annoyed and intrigued by Andromeda, the melancholy bard that is leading their little band of misfits on their Illithid adventure. He thinks her weak and an easy target for manipulation, however, as he gets to know her, he realizes just how wrong he is and also that he might actually be developing feelings for her.

Summary
When Lavare and Evelyn end up on the nautiloid, kidnapped and inserted with tadpoles that will turn them into monsters, the pair of sisters go on a quest along with a ragtag party to try and save themselves from the grim fate. Everyone is a little weird, but they all need to work together to get through this mess. Between a wizard that might blow up, an elf who might eat the party, the cleric and fighter snipping at each other, a monster hunter and a woman who didn't end up a monster after all, things are not off to a great start. On top of all of that, a seemingly half-crazed tiefling who can't even remember her own name, do they have the odds to even make it through this journey?
Lavare is enthusiastic enough to believe they can make it, but her older and more experienced sister doesn't feel the need to hand out trust to anyone just yet. Still, it's safer in a group than it is alone. It's going to be dangerous enough just getting to Baldur's Gate, when they actually reach it then it's really going to get messy.
And the amnesiac Dark Urge, helped along by Karlach when it seems like no one else can believe in her, is terrified of her own place in the world and what it means when she starts to learn it.

Summary
Goosetarion was just a goose on a midday waddle in Baldur's Gate, until mind flayers dropped him in the middle of the Sword Coast. Left to his own devices, he's found the perfect bodyguards to help him find the perfect sandwich, including the fabled Blade of Frontiers. However, when his new companions fall into mortal peril, it's up to Goosetarion to save the day.

As Goosetarion revelled in delight, a chorus of crust sang in his ears as meat and cheese danced on his tongue.
“Gods, this is delicious,” he murmured mid-bite, eyes rolling back into his head. “I should find out where she got this beef. Cazador would never let me have anything this exquisite!”
With each peck into his well-deserved prize, scraps of vegetables strewed the ground. Lettuce was improper of a classy goose like him, and tomato too. Despite his best efforts, treasured morsels of Arabellan cheddar eluded him. Crushed, he watched them sink into the mud.
When he dove to rescue them, an angry voice cut his culinary reverie short.
“What the fuck are you doing?”

A beautiful, clever, cunning, complex mix of odd contradictions with an uncanny ability to lead. When you spoke, people listened. When he threw you banter, you threw it back. And yet despite your resolve and that steely exterior, he had seen an entirely different side of you during your nights together. Gentle…Observant. Patient. He had found himself met at the same level or surpassed by the very thing that had protected him for so many years. It was both thrilling and– if he were honest with himself– a little bit intimidating.-

The others are worried, snapping at each other in harsh tones around the edge of the campfire, yet despite their issues, they move forward – if he can’t keep up, he’ll get left behind. Summary
There is grit in his hair.
Tav doesn’t know why that’s the first thing they notice when the party arrives back at camp after the fight. They should focus on the blood splattered across Astarion’s body, painting pale skin with crimson splashes of gore and grime. Perhaps he’s hurt somewhere, a wound left open that the healing potion, one that he’d sipped after their encounter with the goblins, hadn’t touched.
Tav should focus on that, on making sure that he, and the rest of their companions, are okay. Instead, they look past the rest of the party, their focus honed in on Astarion, on dark shadows of road dust and goblin grime peeking out from beneath strands of white. They reach up a hand, fingers sifting through his hair, rough enough to dislodge a spatter of mud that rains down onto Astarion’s shoulders. He winces, a quick jerk of surprise followed by raised brows as he lifts a slender hand to brush the dirt from his armor.
“River. Now.”
Or: A quiet moment between two lovers shared on a cool night.

Summary
Of all the paths, in all the wilderness, in all of Faerûn, she had to stumble across his.
After escaping the crashed mind flayer vessel, Kiera, a wood elf ranger, and her newfound companions/fellow abductees are in a race against time to find a solution to their parasites that won't result in their bodies and souls being ripped apart to give gruesome birth to new mind flayers. Unfortunately, it becomes evident early in their journey that it won't be as simple as they thought, and they seem destined to play the largest role in defeating the evil trying to conquer their world.
And Kiera has to contend with the fact she fell in love at first sight with possibly the most dangerous of their companions, the pale vampire spawn Astarion, who has his own dark history of torture, distrust, and pain. Then they save the Archdruid Halsin from his cage and... damn... Destiny has a hilarious sense of humour, introducing her to two of her life-mates when they're facing a world ending crisis.
