Summary
Shiro, Keith, Pidge, Hunk, Allura, and Coran are all getting along well in the castle of lions, fighting against the Galra forces and freeing captured planets. They're all fighting so hard, quickly bonding with one another, fighting and gaining the strength to save the galaxy from the same fate the Alteans experienced. They're all becoming a family, though rough and bumpy in the beginning, they're blending together as the war acts like sandpaper, smoothing the edges. All the edges except for tiny rough patch called 'Lance'.
Or the one where everyone in the castleship are bonding and becoming a team and family, except Lance just can't seem to get over his insecurities to join them. While he may not think so, they want him included just as badly as he wants to be included.

Lance, Keith, and Shiro are captured, set to be interrogated by Druids tomorrow. The Druids though become the least of their problems when one of the guards sets his sights on Keith — on the halfbreed and he’ll show him a fun time — and won’t take no for an answer and Lance and Shiro can only watch helplessly as Keith is overpowered and taken away.
And now that it’s over, now that they’ve been rescued…

Summary
Life on the Castle of Lions was pretty quiet after Keith left for the blade. The whole team missed him. Hunk missed the way Keith’s face would light up after taking a bite of a new dish. Pidge missed how he offered to help when she couldn’t quite reach some parts of her inventions. Shiro missed how happy Keith would be after he would manage a friendly conversation with Lance. He saw a growing tension between the two but never said anything. It was kind of adorable how the two would gaze at one another when the other wasn’t looking. Shiro missed it all.
But he didn’t just miss Keith. He missed Lance too.
