When the Jedi Council agrees to sponsor Viktor's research, he moves into the Jedi Palace and finds himself face-to-face with his oldest friend.

He loosens a blast at the chrysalis, letting in more light into the space. The pieces hum and hover around them like the destroyed pieces of a shattered star.

After the explosive events at his commune, Viktor is captured and taken prisoner by Noxus. Revived by Apex Shimmer, subjugated to experimentation and torture, Viktor is used to develop their weapons via his link to the arcane.
Jayce finds out but is faced with a choice: to finish what he started or to find a new recourse. No matter what he chooses, Viktor is always at the center of it all.
