Summary
Breathless, Mumbo licks the salt off his own lips, enjoying the shake of Grian’s breath. His eyes were back on him, squeezing his hand. It was like drowning; Grian coaxing his face closer with no physical movements, just his gaze. Mumbo wanted to touch, to feel, more than he already was. He wanted to hold, and caress, and love. He needed to love Grian.
He held his breath as Grian looked down beneath them. He didn’t want to know what lay below, what possibilities were right by his ankles, threatening his toes. He let himself not think, admiring scales on collarbones, messy dark blond hair, moon glimmering off wet skin.
or a long fic about mumbo realizing life is more than school work, and that grian makes life interesting.
