“Um, anyway. She went out to gather some katniss. I panicked. I needed to convince her not to leave.” He was desperate to convince Sejanus he was right.
He searched for what might sway him.
“I mean- I couldn't leave you.” He tried. Sejanus looked up, his eyes brightening a little.
