Summary
Edward Teach doesn't have an anger problem. At least, he doesn't think he has an anger problem until a road rage incident ends in a car wreck that takes Izzy's leg. When Izzy takes his life, Edward reaches rock bottom.
Six years later, and Edward is getting better. He is in love with Stede Bonnet and going to therapy when his therapist recommends a group for people with anger problems. At least, Edward thinks he is getting better.
Meanwhile, Stede decides the supportive thing to do is be there for Ed, even if it means volunteering at the soup kitchen run by Roach that just so happens to be held at the same time as Ed's meetings. As Ed tries to heal, Stede finds himself struggling to save the homeless people that come to the kitchen - especially one dark man with a missing leg.

I apologize for the brevity of this missive, but I find that I do not know how best to speak with you. I have been informed by my father on this eve that we are to be wed in less than a year's time. Though the date of our nuptials is distant, I still find myself caught off guard by the suddenness of our engagement, as I had previously been informed by my father that he had been blessed with little luck in his hunt for a new Bonnet bride.
Though I know it is not conventional, I was hoping you might permit me the opportunity to know you better prior to our first meeting. Please, if you would, tell me about yourself.

Summary
The last thing Izzy remembered was getting shot and dying, quite painfully. At least he was pretty certain he remembered that happening. So when he woke back up on the deck of the Revenge he was all but convinced he'd landed in his own personal hell.
___________________________Or, Izzy gets flung back in time after dying, becuase what better way for the universe to say "fuck you" than to make him relive all his worst days aboard Bonnets ship. The crew hate him at present. And damn it all, he can't even blame them for it.
But maybe things can go differently this time.
Fuck Bonnet and his fucking "talk it through" philosophy, look at him! He's grown a conscience! And all that's ever done for Izzy is get him Dead!

Author's notes:This was started by a photomanipulation of Rhys Darby I saw on Twitter, with someone wanting to know what his (as Stede) story would be. I thought he looked like a teen heartthrob a few decades down the line, so that's what I wrote.
Title is from the Simon & Garfunkel song of the same name, about touring. Seems like most bands have a song about how shit touring is, and this one is my favorite.
I have done an extremely, pathetically small amount of worldbuilding but Frenzal Rhomb was a real punk bank in AO/NZ in the 2000s so I guess they're there?
