    Sam gets sick and Bumblebee freaks out and decides he needs to take him to see Ratchet ASAP. The only bad thing about that is that Miles is inside of him, too. Bumblebee is worried enough about Sam that he doesn't care, and just dumps Miles in one of the NEST soldier's rooms and asks Will to talk to him.

    Sam gets to wake up in the medbay, attended to by Ratchet and Bumblebee. Miles gets to wake up alone, in a room he doesn't recognize, with the horrible realization that he's been kidnapped. Miles decides to do something about it.

    Something involves attacking the first person to come in the room (Will) and then accidentally almost shooting Simmons and making him wet himself.

    Relief is palpable when Orion and his crew receive word that the crashed Nemesis has been located and they set off to lead the search personally on Earth. Orion will have to balance keeping the larger Decepticon presence a secret while dealing with the Orion's crew and the local organics.

    A sequel to Those Abandoned, but can easily be read before it since everything that has happened since then is explained in the first chapter.

    Orion Pax had been hurrying out of the Archive and back to his dock for his shift when an ancient artifact, propulsed by the explosion of Sentinel Prime (with a little too much speed to be completely believable, but then again, the Matrix of Leadership was known to do strange things to fundamental physics on occasion), sailed it's way from the Primal Palace Entrance and directly into his chestplates.

    Primus, it seemed, had seen a chance to get a new, better Prime to serve his children in the explosive assassination of his unchosen Prime. There was Civil War to avert, and nothing short of the most optimal Prime would do.

    The Matrix was a mysterious artifact for a reason. It also never was as powerful as when the very fate of Cybertron hung in the balance. Poised on the edge of the destruction of Cybertronian Civilisation, as it was then, as it had been back during the Quintesson Invasion, the Vessel of Primus could do miracles.
