The Royal Family of Hyrule have wings, a trait carried through the blood of their line all the way down from Hylia herself. No one else is known to have this unique feature, so when Link, the Hero of Legend, grows wings when he's only six and still just a normal little boy from Kakariko, his Uncle knows they have to hide it.

Twilight… okay, Twilight can’t say he entirely likes Legend at this point. He’s got a big mouth and a bigger head and is always finding a way to pick on somebody. Especially the younger kids. He’s sullen and unfriendly to the point where Twilight sometimes finds himself weirdly concerned, because no one else tries so hard to push the rest away.
Then Legend starts up an argument and Twilight forgets about all that.
- - -or: Twilight and Legend don't exactly have the most stable relationship after they first meet. Their usual bickering and fighting comes to a head when they're separated from the rest of the group, and now they're forced to figure out their discordance before it kills them both.
(aka i take that one "fight" they had in lu, set it on fire and just generally make things worse :D)

Legend had been traveling with the Chain for a while now, and of course they all got along. They shared a spirit, and they were practically brothers. They argued, they play-fought, they teased. Well, they did all that to each other, but not really to Legend, and he knew exactly why. It was because somehow, even the people who shared his soul didn't really understand him, and though he thought they knew that he cared about them just as much as they cared about each other, they didn't.
Alright, fine. If they couldn't see it for themselves, then he'd just have to show them exactly how much he cared, and he'd have to do it in ways they could understand. They didn't speak his language, but he was passable enough in each of theirs that he could say all he had to.
(Although, it was starting to get a little exhausting to keep bridging the gap with everyone else, going towards them but never having anyone to meet him where he was. It was tedious to keep bending over backwards and reaching out, and having no hand to catch his own. It was lonely, to have nobody understand him, not at all, and for him not to understand anyone but for them to all get each other so easily. He was tired. But he'd keep going for them.)Series

"So," Renado cleared his throat. "I heard you haven't been feeling very well."
All eyes suddenly fixated on Legend. He felt like he might choke.
Stammering, his attempts at words gave out to a weak little noise that caught in his throat.
Renado hummed, while Time got a bit more comfortable on one of the seats, idly playing with his wristwatch. It seems that they all somehow collectively knew that they'd be here for quite some time.
"Have you been using your heating packs regularly?" Renado slowly approached Legend akin to how one would to a forest animal. At this very moment, Legend felt like one.
